This book is very well written and it successfully conveyed the characters' feelings, I could totally feel their joy, love, and pain. The MC at first was annoyed and mad at ML for being forcefully shoved into his designed worlds but slowly developed an attachment to him as they journeyed through the story. I really love the setting of the games in which the MC was forced to become a professional slag and coax all the souls in each world one by one. Although repetitive, it wasn't boring at all.... more>> Each soul had different settings, backgrounds, and personalities so MC's way of approaching them varied as well.

I did find it unfortunate that the only survival part of this book was in the third arc. All the other worlds had ML's souls in them so the MC was never in real danger at all. The third arc was very refreshing since we could see how the quasi worlds really were supposed to be. <<less

I really really really LOVE this novel. The interactions between the MC and ML are just so sweet. It was also the most hilarious couple that I've ever read. The ML is possessive but always makes the MC in a situation where he has to pedalling multiple boats XD

the boats was the ML himself. But always got separated into multiple body.

Overall I really recommended this novel!!!

The premise is very original and creates a unique dynamic between the protagonist and his partner. It is thought-provoking and ultimately makes for a beautiful romance. The translation could use some editing.

It feels like philosophy In a very good way

i had to survive the first stories, they were complicated and long, I did because I read in the reviews that it all comes together and make sense. I'm glad I did, it really is very unique and strangely deep

i did not expect the very rare and interesting setting to be occupied by strange « romance » / harem like problems, and not world saving adventures... that came a little as a disappointment too me... I wanted to explore... more>> more, as well as I wanted « plots »... but what there is to explore has never been about the worlds (or at least not that much), but about... feelings maybe ? it's not as much about storytelling as it is about understanding oneself and... love ? Possibly... Or the meaning of life ? a bit like the movie Hector and the pursuit of happiness or Walter Mitty... there is an exploration that defy words but will bring you deeper or elsewhere ? Hard to know...

it's still an experience hard to describe, although some part seemed a bit long, I could never stop reading, and I tremendously enjoyed the kindness of the writer brushing our « universal lifelong questions without answers » with fantasy and delicacy :)

to me it's certainly not perfect, but it's a very rare gem, that I can only recommend dearly ! <<less

An interesting spin on quick transmigration stories but one I nevertheless find super annoying. MC is taken to a dimension called central world where he picks the job title of collector.

Unfortunately he has a high affinity for worlds designed by the ML (designer X) who is known to be a neuropath when it comes to his world settings so the worlds are SS class and because the ML inexplicably fell in love with the MC at first sight and even more inexplicably leaves a piece of his consciousness in each... more>> world it looks like every task he has is in some way related to collecting the love of the ML consciousness. This wouldn’t be so annoying but the consciousness seems to be split among multiple people. So when he goes to different world he has to collect things.

The mermaid world (which is technically his first real assignment after his tutorial world and a team world) he has to collect the love of 6 royal princes, he’s basically forced to be a scum shou.
This story has so much potential but it’s hard to sift through because the ML is dislikable and so far all the worlds seem set up to be filled with extremely unnecessary bullsh!t <<less

I am absolutely not a fan of harem novels, but this is not exactly a harem novel or else I would not have read it.

It is obvious how much the author loves the 2MCs. It is obvious just how much time, dedication, attention to detail the author invested, in order to describe each arc, each game instance, each character's psychology, background and behaviour. The author took great care not to leave any plotholes and incoherences, often over-explaining things to the point of being repetitive. Yes, sometimes, I felt that... more>> the psychology aspect was emphasised too much and became repetitive. I would have preferred a bit more action or other things, not necessarily Hollywood-style pyrotechnics or gory combat scenes, just some more lines about them doing simple routine uneventful things, to balance out all the love games and the mind tricks... but that's just my personal preference because I prefer uneventful slice-of-life stories over dog-blood drama.

Despite my dislike of the harem instances, at the heart of this novel is an absolutely adorable couple who I fell in love with. <<less

This is my second absolute favorite after QWTFOTD! I thought this novel would have the same plot with QWTFOTD, that was the reason why I started reading this, but I was so wrong. There are similirities with hopping world to world and MC brave but take no monsense personalities, but just these. I recommend it to everyone, you won't regret it. If you like a loyal and dedicated ML with a lovely and caring MC, you will love this story so much like me. I give it my full stars.

If... more>> you already reading it halfway but dissapointed by the plot or the world the ML designed, don't worry you'll get the reason and you'll understood later. Everything will be explained clearly. Remember everyone, looks can be deceiving, you can't judge people by his looks alone. The're reasons why ML designed his worlds like that or easily fall in love with MC, you'll understood it later belive me.

The plots were so heartwarming and lovely, I'm gonna miss this story so much in the future.

The MC Xie Xie character was funny and so understanding, there wouldn't be no one who fall in love with him. His character was so loyal and brave, and sometimes funny and vengeful too lol.

ML Jiang Xie character was so wonderfully romantic and caring that I couldn't help eating dog food almost for the entire story, but I'd do it willingly again and again.

The interaction between MC and ML was funny and heartwarming. I often shed tears in the end stories/archs. It's absolutely wonderfully written and so lovely.

Spoiler

My hearts broke when I knew the real reason why Jiang Xie had a bad luck and why he really cared and lovel Xie Xie so much.

I'm surprised at the generous rating of this novel. I guess it appealed to certain kind of audience but I was left behind.

This is a very boring novel and should NOT be compared to QWTFOD. There is no way this novel is that good. The premise is interesting but it failed at execution. There is a story within a story in an arc usually, and then sometimes another story in that. It does not leave you with a satisfied feeling cuz you left floating through stories without any ending for... more>> a long time.

The worst part has to be the pseudo harem setting in every arc. I get that all the harem members are part of the ML (not a spoiler, you learn very earl on), but it is boring when it is repeated in EVERY EFFIN' ARC!! <<less

While MC started as an innocent flower later became old hand at coaxing Jiang xie's souls.

4.5-I read this back in 2019 when it was first translated but finished it via MTL. I finally stumbled back on it and decided to read the complete translation and am glad I did.

This novel has humor and sweet moments with a likable MC/ML and only a few downsides. It seems long at 300+ chapters, but the author does a great job moving the story and not making the arcs too repitative. Honestly the story was engaging enough that I wasn't constantly looking to see how many chapters were left... more>> in the arc/novel.

MC is OP with great luck so if that isn't your thing be warned. He is only 19 to begin with and slightly immature, but he does grow and learns to understand the ML.

ML is the shameless pe*vert type. It is explained that he uses it as cover, but it did get a tad annoying at times.

The arcs are really fleashed out and detailed. I enjoyed most of them. I really appreciated the first 4 zodiac arcs, was a nice break from multiple boat MC.

I did get a tad annoyed with the Virgo/Leo arc and the last arc with the 6 zodiacs. I appreciate the last arc, but was tired at the same time.

The author explains a bit more about central and the MC and ML's background, just enough to satisfy some curiosity, but leaves you wanting more. I would absolutely read a sequel.

I may read this again in few years if I come across it again. It's a great alt to QT and unlimited flow novels as those arcs are usually highly repitative. <<less

This was such an amazing book. I rarely give 5 stars but this novel deserved it. It took me like 2 weeks to finish but but nevertheless it was *chef's kiss*.

Honestly the last world but the funniest one, I couldn't stop laughing and hence it might be my favourite one as well.

Seeing the ML fighting with himself and eating vinegar because of his other souls was so funny. Especially MC's reactions to these moments were priceless. The storyline itself was very unique.

The world building was spot on and I don't... more>> think there were any plot holes at all which is rare. Moreover the ending was just perfect. It answered all our questions while still leaving something to the imagination. Definitely worh the read. I mean I'm here writing this review at 3:36 am instead of sleeping because I just couldn't not do it after finishing the novel. Hands down amazinggg <<less

I didn't like how the MC has to a pacify from 4 to 6 too a 'soccer team' group of men and make them like him, the so-called God-level designer ML just in name with nothing to back it up, all the 'quasi-worlds' he design were romance made for his 'soulmate' to be the one to clear. I became too tired wanted this Arc and that arc finishing too quickly, that was what's my rating down. And that just me trying to be polite.

The High rating excited me and reviews even more so since they aren't much negative ones, but everyone has their own taste and this novel just didn't fit with me, that's all.

The author does their best to mix it up and create different situations. I felt that side characters would have been helpful here to flesh out the later chapters but it was frequently just the MC and ML with NPCs around them.

It was good, then eventually became full of plotholes and a bit silly.

I started off really liking the ml. But once it hit the President arc my live for him died.

Lost interest in the MC around the time he bought out the book (plot device).

It just kept going downhill until I reached 225 and realised there was nothing left in this story I still wanted to know/see.

I can recommend it, but only halfway. It was a good story until then.

Ahhh this is my one of earliest Chinese novels I read!! (I think it's the second or third I read!)

And I love it!! Also still remember it!! But I'm too lazy to write review at that time... xD

Sooo, the first arc. Based on the novel's description it's like an otome game (and yeah, it is! Dark otome 'tho). I hope there're more unlimited flow novel which contained otome games' vibe. But don't be sad! Some of the arcs here are like otome games. What I like the most is... more>> the mermen arc. It's fun and interesting! As much as I love spoiler, I won't give any hint because it would lower your experience in reading this arc. Anyway, the ending of that arc is a blast! I really really not expect it. Hahaha.

Then, there's this amus**ent park arc. Those games are really interesting... and ghore. It's a memorable arc.

However, I don't like the horoscope arc. The reason might be because...I don't like many consecutive chapters about the past. And I think the arc itself is kinda boring. One of the reason why I didn't write a review at that time: the arc near the end is boring and so lower my excitement.

But the ending is tied up nicely. The reason why ML chose MC is also stated. As for plot holes, there are some. Not significant for main plot, but urghhh I want to know it!

Spoiler

It's about the organization. I am sure there should be a story there, but it's only mentioned in passing! T_T

All in all, it is really an interesting read! Might re-read. <<less

I loved it!!

The MC is very cute, both in appearance and personality, but he does learn as the story goes (albeit it's learning how to paddle multiple boats..) but he does learn more.

The ML is very funny, and rightfully experienced, he guides the MC despite the misunderstands lmao.

Overall the story is satisfying for me, except a few errors here and there, but it is interesting. So many comic reliefs too! I understand why some wouldn't like it tho. You may drop it halfway, but try it out! Just keep... more>> reading, it has a fine ending too.

Lots of people say that the feel is similar to The Earth is Online, and they're sort of right! Spoiler

accidental amnesia, meeting at least twenty different versions of ML through the quasi-worlds' souls, and loving him multiple times over several different universes

[collapse]
and the game mechanics are quite different but I get a similar feeling of fluffiness and satisfaction from this story

Couple is 10/10
ML is a shameless flirt who hides a rather tragic side and was on the path to a quiet doom until he met MC, is meant to be OP but apart from the couple of times where his skills and resources help MC (usually without MC knowing until much later, mainly due to the *SPOILER* backlash of his actions), is very childish sometimes and sticky but treasures MC with all his heart. A typical "will act pitiful and sticky in order to get attention from his lover but will display Oscar-levels of acting skills when he's actually in danger/hurt in order not to worry his lover"
MC is a beginner player blessed with probably all of the luck accumulated by humanity through the centuries, lol. His luck is probably OP but it's never really done in a way that makes me cringe, because the story and the plot make up for it and incorporates it in a way so that it never really feels jarring to me. An MC with braincells is always fun to read about! This MC has both the emotional and logical braincells, so the book never got frustrating to read <3

Story is probably 9/10
The stories themselves are amazing. Some reviews say that it's repetitive, but although the barest concepts of each quasi-world is similar
Spoiler

(MC and ML's soul fragment need to get together)

[collapse]
, each story is unique, with their own worldbuilding, characters, relationships, and plot. A lot of the time you'll get so invested in each story that you'll forget that it's a part of the main story at all, but they are all memorable and you'll probably end up with a few personal favourites as you read. After the first few worlds and MC and ML get to know each other and fall in love, all the quasi-worlds after that seem so much more meaningful <3 what's more romantic than MC living through world after world of both whole and collapsing worlds, recognising his lover no matter what form or shape he's taken, and patiently teaching him how to love and (usually) bringing him to the light each time?

Spoiler

My personal favourite is the Collapsed God quasi-world, especially J and Xie Xi's story. It's really romantic and tragic at the same time, the story of endless unconditional love and the different things the same love can do to two different people. I cried reading it, and the concept of the quasi-world was really unexpected, I didn't see the twist coming at all!

[collapse]

However, the only thing I can criticise (?) about this story is the ending and the handling of the side characters? There wasn't anything inherently wrong about the ending, but it was just a little too abrupt for my taste. I feel like there were a few strings that just got cut off prematurely to make a quick and clean ending that could have been developed further. For example,

Spoiler

Yunge seemed to be building up to become a sort of villain later on within the Central, especially since all the main "villains" had only been characters or souls within the quasi-worlds, but in the end they didn't do anything after Xie Xi and Jiang Xie defeated a few of their members in the open world. N seemed to be a sort of not-quite-villain antagonist but they didn't even develop much on his "redemption", and he sort of ended up being a convenient character with a convenient backstory and ability. I would have liked to see him become closer with MC and ML, especially sine MC will repair his worlds, and since his whole character is based off of his loneliness, I thought that we would be able to see N eventually integrate into Jiang Xie's group of friends.

[collapse]

Spoiler

Speaking of Jiang Xie's group of friends, the interactions we saw were very funny and sweet but it was too few! We only got the slightest hint of Yan Zhe's backstory with Jiang Xie, but I was really looking forward to seeing how the rest of them got to know Jiang Xie, and why they became friends with him, what sort of designers they are, etc. I also wanted to see more of Roast Pork Bun, who turned into a sort of plot device towards the end and was forgotten, and Xie Xi's little group of half-zombie friends and also the friend he made in the open world. Also, there were a few antagonistic characters who were dropped and forgotten as soon as MC left the quasi-world. I didn't notice while I was reading, but looking back, they probably could have been developed further.

[collapse]

In short, I felt like although the main couple were developed excellently, the side characters and the plot about the Central could have been expanded on a lot more, which would have made the story a lot better and satisfying, in my opinion.

Ultimately, though, it only really left me wanting more. 300 chapters was too short ;; I wish it were 600, but it was still an amazing read and will probably stay as one of my favourite stories ^^ Read it! You won't regret! <<less
