Spoiler

This is different...

Spoiler

She wasn't engaged to the one she was meant to be engaged with, he ended up being engaged to: another person, neither her or the heroine, and they also did not end up together... I feel bad for the prince in a way. The heroine did not pop out of nowhere (she might, someday, but she wasn't at all revealed in this story... who knows? Maybe she'll end up with the prince?) Although no surprise with Jeremy liking her. I was actually rather half-expecting that they wouldn't end up with each other and that the story would end as per her original goal, or that the parents would be against their marriage, but no, they ended up together.

[collapse]

Jeremy's oddly obsessive fixation on her locking her up? Keeping her away from everyone's sights? Kidnapping her? Hooooh... he has the potential of being a horrible villain of the story... it's a good thing that it's only mild (?) because hey, he didn't lock her up and so far it's only all talk...

This is a wonderful short story that is essentially a ‘Reincarnated/Transmigrated as the Villianess’, but with a lot of the filler/‘fatty bits’ cut out. The TL did an amazing job of translating, that I could smoothly follow and understand the story.

Of course, the story does have some minor flaws but they can be easily overlooked:

Spoiler

One such flaw is that the MC was supposedly a 40 y/o when she died, but she acts more like a young woman/teenager the majority of the time.

It could be chalked down to ‘the mind/spirit follows the body but as that’s not explicitly stated, it’s up to interpretation.

[collapse]

There was one personal pet peeve of mine that occurred and seemed completely unnecessary to the story, but it’s minor and personal so it doesn’t affect how well the story itself was written.

Spoiler

The ML being a ‘perfect man in every way but also a Yandere’ was both a bit annoying and obvious early on... but it’s barely touched up upon.

5/5 amazing short story with some fluff and practically. <<less

A really short and fluffy story! I really like it!

The story doesn't have much otome world building but I still like it.

The main focus of this story is the relationship between Iris the MC and her adopted brother.

Since the story is super short, there's no big drama or anything at all.

This novel is good for passing the time, definitely recommended!

Nice for a short story. A propr lil intro and closing remarks at the end. The MC didnot play the game but read some otome nobels on previous life. She didnt know the whole story which is kinda good too. Our ML has some lil yandere tendency but one can see how he cherish MC. MC too slowly founds out her love for ML. And yep d supposed heroine never appered hahhaa well that's it.

It was a nice story, perfect if you're looking for something light and fluffy.

Spoiler

Surprisingly, Though the Heroine (Not the Protagonist) was mentioned, she did not appear in the story. (Actually she may be in that world but wasn't mentioned)

Overall, I really like this story. ??

Thought this was alright and was going to give this a 3 star but then read a 20 chapter short story immediately afterwards. In short, it was shit. And that's how I realised this is pretty well done for a short story.

Short, quick, and sweet.

This story is a sweet read to pass time. Not really the type to have an over riding rollercoaster emotions filled type of read, but it is a cliche girl reincarnated into a villainess who tries to destroy her death/ruin flags. Although it's cliche it was the type of cliche people would crave to read about. It is a sweet fluffy read consists of a dense MC who hasnxt figured out her feelings and an ML who is focused on our MC with a slight yandere... more>> type of thinking. The mc's relationship with other characters where peaceful. I also happened to enjoy the fact that the king and queen ruled the kindgom peacefully and doesn't constrict Ms. Emilia to be engaged to the pribce but allowed her to follow the one she loves.

Overall, this is a sweet fluffy read that I recommend you to try~☆ <<less

It's fluffy kind of story, the one that I rather read when I don't want to jump into a mess of drama, plus it's a short one so I didn't mind. It'll be much fun if the author add more detail of their interaction in the past.

Spoiler

Well, as someone who read lots of yandere story, I wonder what kind of plot it'll be if the MC reject the ML. Will it truly be confinement?

4.5 stars.

It's a sweet short story that sticks to the popular transmigrate-into-a-villainess formula (with all the included clichés) but does it well enough to get a couple of smiles and a few laughs.

A relaxing 30min read for those times when you've read too much drama and just need a bit of fluff.

OK, I want to ask, why every woman who transmigrates to otome game always destined to be a villainess and ends up being a heroine instead? It's like a fixed formula that couldn't change. I long for something different but I guess I couldn't find it in this story.

Yes, it's the typical story of transmigration to otome game where villainess becomes a heroine instead. But where is the initial heroine? Why is she doesn't attend school and becomes a crown prince's fiancee like the original story?

a cute story and it was fast to read. I quite liked the relationship between those two. It was somehow predictable for those two to be in love with the other but I liked it.

It's short and sweet. A quick read. The description fits because I don't really know how much you could say to describe this story without telling someone everything.

It's worth a read.
