What can I say? I'm gonna miss Zhou du.. he is the best. the MC is too much for me.. too scared, too weak, too... too much for my taste, definitely don't deserve the ML.

At first the story it's cute.

But, very disspointed of the writer. Cause at the begining of their relationship. if ML/MC have miss understanding or have distrubing in their heart for other between them, they didn't spill it each other or asking for the explanation or make it clear (so your hearts didnt hurt of speculation) . Cause, in my opinion if you just speculating so its become miss understanding its really bad for your relationship cause its always make you uncomfatable sometimes.

And the MC/ML didnt make it clear so its always makes me really...

Ah you know

I did like this story, but I have a quibble. (I'll get to that later) This is definitely a dog's blood story. Poor MC tortures himself trying to do things right the second time around. The couple does develop their feelings naturally, tripping over each other and still moving towards each other. It shows the MC isn't a bad person that he knows what he did wrong the first time and changes. It ... more>>

was so freaking awful when MC's biological father blackmailed him into leaving the ML. I cried.

You want to cuddle the MC he's so fragile trying to do the right thing and so convinced he's the only one who can't get over his lover. For a nice dose of angst between fluff, this story does well.

My quibble.
Spoiler

The author should stop the story after the MC and ML get together again. The whole part where MC goes through hell because his adopted son's mother shows up wanting him back. Plus unrealistic. MC couldn't bring a baby back into the country unless he was the official guardian of the kid. I also cannot believe anyone who loved that little boy so much would just let an absent parent take him to another country without fighting more. You just don't.

The only reason I took off one star. I always stop reading before the last plot arc. Otherwise it's great! <<less

That typical romantic novel that you are tired of seeing around. Or not. Like most of the novels of the genre, 'My Wife Always Thought I Did Not Love Him' shows a light plot, full of clichés and a little incongruity in some of her passages, but which, on the other hand, amuses and leaves the heart more cherished. In the plot, Xia Yao has just separated from her husband and needs to rediscover herself in society, at the same time that she needs to take care of herself, and... more>> resolve outstanding issues in her life. In this process he meets again, her ex-husband, Zhou Du, a young man who can be described as legal and who will help him with these mistakes. And what happens? Of course, the two get involved and soon fall in love. Furthermore, as was to be imagined, they will not have an easy life in this new relationship, so to speak, since because of their sexes and because they are in different stages social classes, will suffer family resistance, in addition to internal conflicts in view of their conflicting thoughts. In the meantime, the story provides hilarious descriptions, part silly, part with a more restrained humor, but almost always in a romantic light. Not content with making people laugh, his narrative shows how big the mishaps are and how is prejudice in favor of same-s*x people who decide to list. And sometimes, this barrier occurs until even between the family itself, and the couple suffocated by their differences and social non-acceptance, end up not resisting such adversities, letting other people's opinions affect the relationship. In addition, despite of all the predictability present in the novel, it remains to be seen whether Xia Yao and Zhou Du will succumb to these external factors or whether they will let love speak louder. <<less

Ughhhhh. Too many misunderstandings and miscommunication! I feel if only the MC and ML actually sat down and talked everything out all the problems could have been solved in an instant!!!!

(But if they actually did that then the plot would have actually been that much of a 'plot' anymore...)

I did enjoy the the story however cannot resist complaining a bit.

1. The story would not suffer if they just removed transmigrating part cz it was so insignificant. It would be more interesting if they played more with this subject.

2. Or if for e.g. both of the characters transmigrated but did not know that the other did too and both would expect certain things from each other according to their previous life but did not get them as both would try to do better this time thus creating many confusing/funny situations and misunderstandings.

3. Not sure why ML personality changed so much in comparison to his old self. I mean it is understandable that circumstances at the beginning changed but still that did not explain such a drastic change in the personality.

4. What has happened to other couple? The last we know WH came to stay at ZD house and then next day ZD has XY staying for the night and we never hear about WH and/or ZY ever again...

5. Also relationship with XY's father would benefit if it could be developed a little bit more.

6. Still cannot understand why so many events not dependant on MC's transmigration were changed. Like ML reading his diary vs WH in last life or MC's father coming out of nowhere...

7. The ending was very abrupt. It was kind of out of nowhere. I did not expect that that paragraph would be the last and stared at <the end> in confusion for some time.

But despite of all the above said I still kind of liked the story. Not smth I would reread or recommend but I did not drop it half way as I often do if the story is too boring.

Too much misunderstanding and angst from lack of communications. So, at some point, I just jump chapters and I don't miss much. The ML is obviously in love with MC since chapter 1. I mean ML spend 7 years with MC, if ML didn't like MC, he could break it off easily anytime in that 7 years period, but MC never consider it. Keep himself busy with self pity & guilty without ever asking just once how ML feeling towards him before saying "Lets break up"? What the hell???? Then,... more>> keep the misunderstanding when do over, continuing keep things to himself without communicating with ML. The hell???? <<less

The story itself is fluffy and calm, although there’s some drama specially in chapter 55 or so. Either way, it’s really satisfying reading how they overcome it, ... more>>

and the cute little kid just warms my heart.

[collapse]

Male lead (ZH) is a very loyal and realistically love sick guy, even if he (rightfully) comes off as a tsundere right at the start. Also, although he has his own shortcomings, he makes sure to work on them and be his best self for MC (XY), which is very very fluffy. Meanwhile, although XY has his own share of insecurities and family drama, he was still very realistically portrayed, even if still a bit too naive for his age and for a reincarnator (although this can be overlooked because he was already shown as slightly too immature and stubborn right before dying).

All in all, it’s cute, light weight, and a perfect read for a unite afternoon, although the censorship really could take its leave lol <<less

Boooo I want extras (of their sweet gay family life).

The drama in this story is heavily dependent on misunderstandings. It seems that ever since Xia Yao forced Zhou Du into a relationship in the first life he's never believed in his worth and in their relationship being true. I was so frustrated by his lack of reliance and honesty with Zhou Du.

If they had to break up either way, why couldn't he just have explained his situation, rather than use lies to deliberately hurt the other person and part with hate?! ≫:[

[collapse]

On the other hand, Zhou Du is quite admirable. He may have been lacking in the communication of his honest feelings in the first life, but this second time round he's been nothing but true and honest to Xia Yao. He came out quickly and determinedly to his parents before uni. All he ever needed was that Xia Yao loved him.

Lastly, I curse the censorship. <<less

This was good. The flow was average and was easy to follow. The only problem I have with this is the fact that I felt it ended so suddenly. I liked the extra, it gave a glimpse of the original love interest's feelings. It was annoying how they kept missing each other because they did not communicate but the way this was written was satisfying on its own way.",)

This is an okay read, but the ending felt lacking. I also wish they put more details in what happened with the past life... Overall a good time killer, I guess...

I didn't finish reading this... because it got boring in the middle.

First of all, I did not like how ML's character seems 180° different from previous life, it seems inconsistent to me.

Secondly, too many misunderstandings. I've gotten bloated from drowning in dog blood....

... more>> On top of it, I don't really feel the love from MC to ML.

Overall, the story had potential to be good and the first few chapters were interesting, but it went downhill from there. If you're interested in mere angst, maybe its readable. But I also think there are better angst novels out there. <<less

I love it. The feeling of falling in love in someone when you were in high school is like this. Bittersweet TT

MC character is unique on his own. It's like he really is a high school student; not the person who goes back to time. Still so pure, young and innocence. ML also is a very love-sick student.

I give 5 out of 5. It's not because of the plot but because it reminds me of my puppy love when I was so young.

Personally, I really enjoyed this story. The chapters aren't to too long or excessive in detail and even though there is a lot of misunderstanding between zhou du and xia yao, it's still sweet and fluffy

The author need do its research. If your writing a story in year 2008; there no ipad. ipad came in year 2010.
The story is good... but...I wish there where more or it could have been better. Mainly the story is about Zhou Du love for Xia Yao. XiaYao has relive his life and of course he change... more>> his future. His lover Zhou Du personality is different bcuz he's honest toward his love for Xia Yao. I think in Xia Yao prevlife never believe Zhou Du love him. He probably wasn't straight forward and he didn't read Xia Yao diary. The story is tell summary of their life. When I mean summary I mean quick summary.

There a lot of star taken off. This my reason I dislike the story. 1st not a lot story about them. 2nd doesnt show s*x scene 3rd doesn't tell reason why they really love each other. 4th The author never tell us what in the dairy <<less
