When she stands, she’s like a white peony. When she sits, she’s like a tree peony. When she walks, she’s like a lily flower. And when you look her in the eyes, she’s like the Great King of Terror.

Despite having the qualities to be a peerless bishoujo, because of the look of her eyes and that atmosphere of hers, she’s feared by others; such a girl is forcefully sent to another world.

Being told that she would be granted a wish as a special favour, the girl made a wish────

“Make my eyes and atmosphere normal please.”

This is a story recounting the lifestyle in a parallel world of a girl who would be perfect (probably) if just her one weakpoint was overcome.

A fantasy comedy with magic, dungeons, and a hero and demon king(candidate) who she gets tangled up with.

She’s cursed though.

A twist on the stereotypical dungeon story, where a girl’s words are misunderstood creating a comedic series of events where she is transmigrated to another world as an almost normal person, excluding the fact that she is cursed. Rather than being a dark story, the author creates a comedic fantasy set in a world with magic, dungeons, the hero and a demon king. The author here also further manipulates their creativity to create a chaotic but amusing story involving the tropes of these characters. The story overall is quite short,... more>> and light read. <<less

i quite enjoyed the story, although the ending feels a little bland/unfinished. I understand the story is banking on the sequel, but I'm not all that interested when reading the description and comments. The story is nice and short, the characters are quite engaging and the main cast isn't too big either. Additionally the story does manage to take you by surprise a few times, keeping the story fresh without breaking things down.

it's a pity An extremely intriguing plot is ruined by the innocence that is present in almost every Japanese novel. Anri's innocence is what ruined everything for me, and of course, another point that made things even worse was the idea of making men weirdly down and empowering women. Up biased hey even if there is no yuri tag but yes I think it is It's a bad thing that I fell into because

A short simple Isekai that doesn't mess about by wasting time, but just jumps straight into the thick of it. With a snarky female MC, who's OP from the get go and then ends up as a raid boss/deity. Great deal of world-building, for what's equivalent to 2 LN volumes of content. It's a shame that this fairly light-hearted story, felt incredibly tame to me. Could've done a lot more if it weren't T for Teens, but due to the lack of good dungeon management novels out there, I'm left... more>> with this. <<less

It starts off from the same template as you'd expect from a Isekai or whatever genre of reincarnated novel are. But quickly takes things to a different direction. Though pacing was odd it's not unbearable. At times it feels slow and at times it feels fast. It's story holds a variety set of elements in it that seemingly doesn't fit in all too well but it works... not that well but it works. Some parts feel shallow and undeveloped while leaving things to be desired. But it being a short... more>> 82 chapters it's honestly admirable to me that it wrapped it up somehow. Though the ending is anti-climatic, seemingly abrupt, lackluster and unsatisfying to some it's somewhat still within what you'd expect from this kind of story and setting so it isn't all that too bad even if it's bit of a letdown. Haven't read the sequel and judging by it's reviews and others' opinion I'm not planning on doing so anytime soon.

I wish that instead of following a whole another line of story within the same universe I'd much more like it if it just simply expanded on the current one. But it is what it is and I'm judging it with what's infront of me and potential it has instead of acknowledging the sequel even exists and treating it as another different novel. That seems to be the best course of action for me.

In conclusion I'd rate it around 7.5/10 to 8.5/10, it's not like what it seems to be, plays with some novel ideas, has an somewhat decent story even if it's lacking in certain aspects, setting is based on who's POV it is but overall it's on the lighter side of spectrum, even if Vnee, heroes, human nations and mortals doesn't seem to agree with me. Except church for Anri that is. <<less

Definitely one of the best novels for passing time. The MC is adorable and actually smart, utilizing her modern world experience to survive in a new world. There are illogical instances such as how certain things *ahem* occur the way they do, but when you think about it from the context of a fantasy world, it makes perfect sense. Also, the MC is a lolita, which attracts 'pe*verted gentlemen' such as I to read this book XD.

A great volume 1, a good volume 2, a longish volume 3.

Spoilers ahead:

The first volume was definitely a 5/5, it did a good job at comedy, and kept the discovery of the world interesting.

In fact, even the second volume for the most part did have a certain originality to it. The whole dungeon conquest was hilarious, and I had a great time. The main issues starts near the end of the volume. It felt like the author tried for a fast conclusion to the volume, and it lacked weight. The... more>> final decision came quickly, with heaps of exposition and no real transition. Meanwhile, it spelled the end of the main storyline.

While the MC was never smart, she never made big decisions without thinking and working out the details. The very last important decision she made was very spontaneous. Thinking further, humanity helds no significant difference with godhood other than a line on her status. With her skills, face and name unchanged, as well as inhuman stats, none of the standards arguments hold. Such an important decision would've deserved more care, and sharing with the reader more of her feelings and reasoning behind her choice of the status of humanity. There's nothing to lose would have even been better as a standalone thought process than the undeveloped "I want to" we got.

Getting to volume 3 / the side stories, it was heartwarming, certainly. There were a lot of nice moments, which would have been better sprinkled through the story. The statue arc was the most longish, certainly. From the start, we hope for her to actually try to order the statue to do someting. Then from the moment we are reminded of the statue having intellect, we can't help but wait for the moment someone, anyone notice they can just do it. And it happens, and you notice you've read somewhere around 10 chapters without much content, even from a slice of life perspective, and would probably would have been better off with 1.

The end of the second volume and the statue arc by themselves bring the overal rating down from a solid 5 to a weak 4 for me. I am grateful I never read the sequel, knowing the pain it brought other readers. <<less

Well I already finished this while it's still hot (the first day of final chapter translated).

The idea and overall premise are good, but the authors simply lack in ability to polish things and from what I see other works of them it's obvious that the authors need to learn more about stuffs and get more experiences.

It's a shame that there is no more work from them, I only hope that they're doing well with their lives.

It's a good change of pace if you streamroll reading isekai novels, because though the... more>> MC is OP the approach is 'different'. <<less

This was a pleasant read, to be honest. There were numerous interesting events, a unique development system, and good character interactions. However, there are two critical problems with this novel that hold it back from being an amazing novel: the main character's lack of initiative and the ending. She never truly takes charge of the situation nor does she try to fix this problem. Whenever the people around her decide things for her, she never truly does anything to interject with her own thoughts and influence the people and events... more>> around her; it's like she's an over-glorified puppet. The disappointing ending only made the MC's faults even worse.

In the ending,
Spoiler

she suddenly forgives and even befriends the evil god for tricking her once and attempting to do it again. She also befriends the priest who sacrificed children and holds no intention of punishing him for it. Somehow, this insane priest suddenly becomes a docile and seemingly righteous person who patiently preaches to the people around himself.

. So many things were changed or established with no proper reason or development within the ending; it's a testament to the fact that the ending was rushed.

Conclusion: This book is an enjoyable read. However, the rushed ending had left a sour aftertaste after reading the whole novel. If you prefer the whole package to be consistently high quality, then this novel isn't for you. <<less

This is one of the besr early Isekai series of the time. It has humour and a female protagonist with loose morals. They fleshed out all of the main the characters with only 2 volumes and 2 Side Stories, not an easy feat. It has Zero character development but I was not expecting one in a OP MC isekai story. Anri felt relatable and is very likable.

It's a fun little story about a girl with OP powers who ends up becoming a god. The whole main story is just 20 chapters, and everything beyond that is side stuff (according to the author note). I'd say it's worth a read if you want a short story that won't take long, but don't expect too much. It's basically just a slice of life that happens to be an isekai.

Hey, well this is my first review, so I'll try to be objective:

Why 3?
Simple is an average piece and doesn't have a big plot behind it, the story often falls into repetition and becomes boring, being often predictable, the characters have practically no depth and seem to have negative qi at times.

Conclusion:
If you have free time it's not such a bad choice, there are only better things.

... more>> But hey man it's just my opinion.

Sorry if the grammar is bad, I'm currently using the translator to write this, I just wanted to give my opinion if someone decides to read this work. <<less

The story finished in quite a rush, but I think the author made a good decision to do so.

The reason is because there's nothing left for the MC to do. It's like, you finish every Elder Scroll series and DLC's, that's where you should cross the line. After meeting the gods and the lords, conquering and finishing the dungeon.

The comedy is great. There's no mismade sh*t characters you see in every LN.

Totally worth your time.

Very interesting read, the pace was really good, I didn't feel at any time that I was getting bored or had to skip what I was reading due to impatience/knowing what was coming- until the final chapter.... more>>
Spoiler

The ending was disappointing. Even though it ended up that way, it felt more like the author decided to just appease the readers by inadvertently choosing all of the possible endings as a single one.

I was wondering what would happen to the now non-immortal Tena and Lili when their mortal lives ended- but the ending itself belies the fact that the Gods can revive the dead, because the hero/demon party are alive after the imperial death fight, even though they were killed in that fight.

Evil god average kinda reminds me of old science fiction novels in a way, it's told first person and everything in it is described with some amount of detail. This book even describes a new fantastical world, like many science fiction novels. Of course the proof of the pudding is in the details, and in this case the book falls flat. Not as others have with their translation, I honestly think this book was beautifully translated, even going so far as to correctly insert english proverbs (good job guys!). But... more>> the story itself feels nothing more than average, I never really felt that there were any stakes, goals, or really too much character in these characters to hold on to, and even as the previously mentioned science fiction book, the world we dive into doesn't feel earnest enough to be astounded by. I never felt, during any moment in this book, that I was diving into an alien world, and the events that happen in it are all completely explained, with no subtlety, which just shuts out the imagination, which seems kinda counter productive to a "fantasy" world. Truth be told this is an entirely average book, because it is based in an entirely average world based off of others imaginations rather than the authors.
As an aside it has a few good jokes, but not nearly enough. <<less
