Cecil will listen to her and give her advices how to make it better. He doesn't ignore her and doesn't see her as a lunatic that rambling about things that may or may not happen in the future. He used the informations that's told by Bertia, to help their kingdom and its citizen.

You could say that Bertia and Cecil complement each other. They're very well suited to each other.

Cecil is possessive and protective of his fiance Bertia.

He give her a handmade necklace that also could be used as medicine to protect her from ilness. (V1c3)

He also protects her from a lolicon, Viscount Raleigh Konsarvuth, who could become Bertia's future evil husband in one of the game routes. (V1c4)

Bertia and Cecil/Ciel has a matching earings to show their mutual strong love. Although Bertia's still in denial. (V1c8)

It's also fun to see that the relationship between Cecil and Bertia's parents are harmonious and lovey dovey.

Because of Bertia, Cecil has close relationship with his future in laws.

Bertia's father, Marquis Douglas Nochesse always visits his future son in law, Cecil, and consulted to him about his daughter, Bertia.

You rarely see such a close relationship between father and son in law like that in otomen game themed story.

It's cute to see the supposed heroine's rival noblewomen become Bertia's fans and adore Bertia so much. Bertia's such a cute tsundere!

With her straightforward attitude, Bertia unconciously become a cupid/matchmaker to her noblewomen friends. (V1c7)

The supposed heroine, Barroness Heronia Inderon/Heroine looks like a suspicious drug addict and a desperate social climber. (V1c7)

Heroine uses all dirty tactics and try to manipulate people around her using magic to make herself powerful. She tried to make Bertia looks bad.

Fortunately, the cunning and smart Cecil knows that Heroine is a bad girl and he doesn't care about her. Cecil only cares his own fiance, Bertia. So, when Heroine try to humiliate Bertia on public and make her cry, Cecil immediately cometo comfort Bertia. (V1c9)
