If I were to read this before DE, I would definitely give it more points but because I didn't and more importantly this novel was written after DE, I really can't because no matter how great a copy is, copy is still a copy.

IET's novel generally have the similar feel to them but so far amongst the ones I read (CD, DE, Shallowed Star, Nine Cauldrons) each of them had clear differences between them... this one however is really too similar to DE, especially similar in both world and MC.

Overall... more>> it's really good story though and in particular I sure enjoyed certain idol that was used in this, other than that IET for the first time did quite well in romance as while heroine still becomes useless plot device for the future (like in chapter I stopped at she got kidnapped yet again), but at the very least her introduction and falling in love period was done right and she ain't forgotten by the story either.

In any case once there are a lot of chapters again I will definitely return but if this series was written by anyone else, then IET could go ahead and charge them to court for copying his works so yea, I can't give it anything more than 3. Overall the story holds the usual IET level and if I didn't judge it as a copy, I would put it above NC, definitely below DE and SS and somewhere around CD. <<less

it's written by IET, so you probably be able guess how the story will be, the mc's personality, good timing power up, etc, etc will also be the same as his other novels.

Well, it's not bad, if you like his novels, then you will like this one too.

Normally I'd only review it come the end of the novel, but I've been constantly seeing comments on the only site I've found with the novel (webnovel) being incessant complaints ranging from people complaining its IET worst novel to date despite only being the first few chapters to people saying they're dropping the novel due to it focusing too much on subplots and thus progressing too slow.

Simply put, this is an IET novel - they always start off slow and become more and more epic over time and this is... more>> even more the case here considering a large part of the first 50 chapters being world building through the various Points of View. If you're a fan of IET, you'll probably like it but only if you're willing to get through the slow-start that is common in his novels - if you can't bother getting through the start? Don't bother - I'm 50 chapters in and the action is only just now starting.
