Xue Ling is a nine tailed fox who has been cultivating for thousands of years but lost all his tails in a moment of capriciousness.

Tails are easy to self destruct, but not easy to recover. In order to restore his human figure, he must struggle to destroy the plot, forcibly change the protagonist’s fate, and be the cannon fodder in the first line of attack.

But why are these plots more and more irrational? The setup is getting more and more weird, and what is with this person that is showing up in every single world?

It seems that before going through all these worlds, he has forgotten some very important affairs?

Su Xuanyan: Yes, you’ve forgotten me.

Xue Ling: Get lost! (▼皿▼#) Clearly every time you are the one that doesn’t remember anything!

Su Xuanyan: Oh, this is purely an accident.

Honestly, I never expected that I'll be able to finish this novel. But as I read through the arcs I can't stop and always has that urge to push through. Also those face slapping scenes are reeeaaaally satisfying. I just have to endure eating dog food everyday ಥ‿ಥ

 • I don't really understand why it got such low ratings then I went into depression that I have some problem with my aesthetics. Overall to me it's a story worth reading. Frankly the first one or two chapter was a quite miserable...I also stopped and went into seclusion for a while. After I came back I gave it a try after reading all the other novels translated by XIIN. And I'm happy that I had such a blind trust on her. Yes I loved it. Mainly because the MC is pampered and lazy (like me) and ML is willing to pamper him. Now you ask why such an intense way to describe them. Well ML is mc's master in real life making it absolutely legal for ML to pamper him. MC is a bona fide fox duh... it is in his nature laze around at the presence of his master. So if you are into fluffy romance with tiny pieces and bites of action and quite a bit of qt, you can give this novel a chance
Happy reading!!

Good quick transmigration novel. There's a cute system in the mix, too.

The novel can get a bit boring.

I also don't like the whole "wife", "husband" stuff in BL novels.

Seriously I don't know why so many people give low ratings and review. Who touched my tail is a good read!! It's just like FOD tho I FOD is no.1 for me but still this novel is good and quiet interesting at first I was skeptical reading this because of the low ratings and review but because I really don't know what to read after reading the best I gave this novel a chance and it did not disappoint me. I think that if you guys want to read you... more>> can judge the book whether to read it or not based on the reviews or just try it out yourself. So yeah, I will finish this novel and thank you for the author for creating this novel and for the translator for translating and for their hard work. Keep it up^^

I'll give this a 5 stars

Ps: I hope that people give this book a chance and if you're having second thoughts reading this because of bad reviews then I suggest try it out yourself and if you do think that its not good then too bad then>3< <<less

The different arcs were very interesting and the relationship between the MC and ML wasnt too bad. However, it really pissed me off how the MC would always try to make the ML prove his love and always took him for granted. Every arc, I felt that the MC didn't deserve the ML except for that act where the ML loses his memories.

The ending was satisfying and the relationship reached a satisfactory end as well.

I enjoy a fair share of world-hopping/transmigration plot-line. In fact, most books I've put in my read list are of this specific genre. That said, I had so much expectations of this one, and it managed to disappoint to so thoroughly.

The first few arcs are really fun. Face-slapping revenge stories are extremely satisfying to read, and MC's OP-ness coupled with his vicious cunning made the revenge even more delicious to partake.

Sadly, this novel experience the same problem with every single world hopping novels out there, namely it gets old and... more>> repetitive. Some novels managed to salvage readers' interest by serving dog food or amazing world building, but Who Touched My Tail! Did not have any of those. The dog food is alright, but it is not to my taste. But the world building could be better. Some of the background stories are so convoluted that by the end it just left the reader (me) confused. I felt like the author was just choosing random plot elements and stringing up whatever mess they had randomly chosen.

Conclusion : Skip this one. <<less

I will write full review later but for now I give 4.5 stars because at the start I like it because of the promising premise of the novel. I kinda want to experience the thrill of reading story similar to QWTFOTD.

Even if it turns out to be so different, and in fact a bit inferior to QWTFOTD, I still like the story. I like the haughtiness of Xue Ling and Su Xuanyan every love at first sight. But, it became repetitive. And that's where everything goes downhill. I started to... more>> become lazy to read this, and drag it for a very long time. <<less

Poor Oscars, they don't deserve this.

Star deduction for:

 • Why everyone compares it to FOD? The whole collecting tails sounds more like CCS or more precisely Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. I mean FOD isn't that great in the first place and simply uses stuff that was created by others to put together worlds, so...*shrugs*
 • At one point I made a really long pause, because I got tired of it, but decided to finish, because of - oh~ the mystery~.
 • The mystery happened to be not such an exciting thing. It was actually quite rushed and anti-climatic. The extras that followed were even worse.
 • The cheating MC and ML, it's boring when protaginists don't have any challenge. If the novel fails to involve you with drama or something that will pull your heartstrings, it at least can give some challenge. WTMT follows the 'we are all powerful and solve everything with ease'. I have a feeling at the beginning MC at least used some fox charm, but I'm not sure because this novel left a weak impression on me. And with constant MC's tsundere-ness you start to feel sorry for ML who is treated like a lackey :'D
 • The plot for stories isn't that exciting or memorable. Mainly because it starts as something, but is tossed aside in the middle and concentrates on MC and ML romance and dog food. Surprisingly, there are no arcs that I remember clearly and I just finished it.
P.S. About poor Oscars. Why would author make something that was created in America into a festival that suddenly appears to be Asian? What is this need to not create your own, especially in some futuristic world, but take what everyone knows belongs to others and mark it as something else? I find it a weird move.

Pretty average read. Not the worst, but not the best eaither.

This book is nice, though as other readers said, it does get a bit repetitive towards the end. At the beginning, it out like it reused many of the ideas that FOD had, but with more confusing story lines.

Overall, a fun and fluffy read.

This novel was great at first. Kind of got really repetitive in the story line especially after the MC and ML got together. Basically the MC would take things into his own hands whenever he entered a new world at first until he got together with the ML and then he would just rely on the ML for everything afterwards. I think I got bored of this novel faster than I should have because I'm reading another novel very similar to this—"There Will Always Be Protagonists With Delusions of Starting... more>> a Harem". Both of these novels are VERY similar in concept and sometimes character. I would recommend to read them at separate times and to not read it immediately after each other unless you really love the system administrator and world hopping genre. I'll probably try my best to finish this novel eventually. <<less

If you liked FOD, you should enjoy this quite a bit. To be honest, I started reading it when I was getting sick of the quick transmigration genre, since it has been used and abused plenty, with a considerably small percentage of good results, and since the beginning is slower than most novels, it took a while to warm up to it. Going on, tho, I really started to enjoy it.

The protagonist has the typical "high-and-mighty" attitude of every good MC that knows he is gonna have his way, but,... more>> miracle!, there's something more to him than just that. To start with, he actually has a reason to jump from world to world and is not just blindingly following some brain-dead, purpose-unknown Whatever-System. Also, he is not hell-bent in ruining the protagonists of all the worlds he visits just because they exist, and he actually has to pay attention to OOCing because there are consequences when he breaks character. Since he's bad at it, tho, his system tries to put him in situations where it doesn't really matter if he messes up.

The System is my favorite character, period. It's fluffy, hardworking, misunderstood, and I live for its tsukkomis. But mainly, it's fluffy. Cute is justice.

ML is, well, whipped, but depending on the world, he can be fierce as well as adorable, andbut he, too, is more than meets the eyes. His relationship with MC is probably the best feature of the novel. It is also the reason why it has a slow start, but it makes sense
Spoiler

since at the beginning the protagonist is depicted as unable to love, and ML needs a f***ing long time to change that.

[collapse]

As it is reasonable and not obnoxiously nonsensical and/or insta-romantic, the slow start is actually a point in favor.

Minus point is, if you like smut, like me, well, there isn't. At least not of the going-all-the-way type, since there are some hot scenes in the later arcs, but descriptions all stop before the deed.

So, to summarize:

Story: 8.5/10 (points deducted because some arcs are a bit too long and, as such, incur the risk of getting repetitive, but a reader with patience will appreciate them anyway)

Characters: 9/10 (I love them all. Kudos to the author for making read-and-re-read new again)

Translation: 4/5 (great work, but sometimes needs the work of a proofreader. Still plenty enjoyable) <<less

What can I say, I'm a sucker for smut in my BL and this lacked it until the VERY END. Oh it also lacked strong plot. And don't get me wrong, there were multiple plots with various scenarios however most of them kind of took a back seat or fizzled out. The whole thing centered around the MC and ML finding each other again and again in different scenarios with little focus on the plot making this long story seem even longer... too d*mn long ?

In one scenario ... more>>
Spoiler

there should have been an in*est tag... but I was cool with it... hehehe ?

After a while, I got tired of reading about the overly proud MC. Being humble isn't a bad thing. <<less

People have got to stop comparing other novels with QWTFOD. I get that the premises are similar, but that's no excuse to repeatedly throw dirty water at a novel that you think is inferior. This whole thing is really getting old.

It's all up to personal preferences. The novels have their own strengths and weaknesses. This novel is not too dark-themed so it serves as a good break for me to get away from antsy things. In short, I like the pace so far.

tbh, almost anything will serve as a break for me after completing Heaven Official's Blessing, I don't know what to do with life anymoar

It is actually a good read. We have the MC who have a mischievous, scheming, haughty and black-bellied personality. And we also have the overpowered ML who have this cold-on-the-outside but hot-on-the-inside personality. He also has a mysterious background and his relationship with MC seems like it began way before the MC started to world hop. Some worlds that the MC hop to are really interesting in their own way as well. What I really like about this story is at the first few arcs, MC and ML did not... more>> end up as lovers. They start of as friends even if the MC is aware that ML loves him, he acts like "I know you like me but unless you do something about it I am not doing anything either". Which really is different from other storylines where the MC and ML immediately end up together.

What I dislike however is that as the story goes on, the tension diminished. There really is not much plot building when it comes to confronting the "problems" in each worlds. The MC is either overpowered or the ML is too overpowered that it automatically solve everything. I would like it more if the MC encountered an extremely problematic world or dilemma and he would have to devised a unconventional plot to solve it. Or maybe have some problems in their relationship, like a misunderstanding or something like that. Everything is just so smooth sailing that it can be boring sometime.

But overall it's a good read. If you want to read something diffrent but familiar on the same time, you can give this a try :-) <<less

I am a fan of systems, omegaverse, and transmigration novels. This one is good and the plot of each arc is adequately developed in the beginning. However, in my opinion, the author wraps up each arc too quickly without giving sufficient detail.

This story is quite refreshing. At its core, it's a world-hopping BL heavy on romance (or at least, romantic allusions) that plays at the heartstrings. The unrequited love is not so much heartbreaking as it is real and because the novel is quick transmigration, we get to see the MC develop as a character as time goes on. A solid read for casual readers and BL fanatics alike. There are some difficult themes though.
Spoiler

In one of the arcs, the MC and ML are closely related.

But don't let this ruin your enjoyment of the book. The writing is good, the translation excellent, and it's a pretty good way to spend your time. I recommend it.

The romance development in this story is a bit underwhelming, but I enjoy the faceslapping and no-shame-black-heart-ness of the MC. It is a very easy to read novel and it is well translated.

If you like a crafty MC (shou) and powerful multitalented ML (gong), this is a story for you.

Fun story!
206 Chapters plus 2 bonus chapters. It was long, but I finished it calmly. There really is no burden in reading this story.

A story filled with many things. Strong ML characters, very tsundere MC, Face slaps, Quick reversals and lots of awesome arcs..

If you need cool reading that is fun but light, you can read this story. Like a light and sweet dugblood story 😁

Many thanks to the author and translator of this story.

one of the good entertainment for me..

at first it was pretty good, each arc was also beautifully written. But I don't know why the ending is a bit unsatisfactory for me.

the origin of MC and ML is completely unclear. At first I thought they were from the world of xiaxia but it turned out to be from the modern world which is a bit less logical.

the reasons for their separation are also unclear.

at first their chemistry was great but in the last arc the writer pulled an amnesia card which ruined their chemistry. And in the... more>> last arc MC is like a different person wich is less OP. And he even like a side character.

the last arc is starting to be a mess and has involved too many parties (another novel chara from the author) that shouldn't exist, keep in mind that not everyone reads all of the author's novels.

too focused with a lot of chara that suddenly appeared and confused, and made MC and ML like side chara. Especially with amnesia which is really unnecessary.

I even think that ML likes her younger brother more than MC (yes, in*est, I don't know if there is a blood relationship or not because I don't read that yet, but at least they are brothers in name). And after they restore the memory is also really awkward <<less

Read this awhile back with an open mind... needless to say it’s nothing special and even when the story has an interesting setting and a few decent side characters the author tosses the MC onto another adventure. Read it if your bored, but I recommend skipping it.

I wish the author just split the mini plots into their own separate stories respectively. They would have been great if elaborated more.
