It was a life without regret. My parents were in good health, and I wasn’t home enough for me to combine my studies and part-time jobs.

I like fantasy, martial arts, games, fiction movies, cartoons… I’m a normal high school student who likes these things.

That was certainly true until ten years ago.

This is not the earth.

A fantasy world dominated by powerful people. Savage utopia. It is a world where you can take anything with you if you have physical strength.

While pretty obviously intended to be a "dark" comedy. FFF-Class tr*shero does seem kind of "realistic" in a strange way. If you steal a child away from everything he knows, loves, and then dump him in a world where he is used and abused for years on end? Well, what comes out the other end should be twisted if not outright broken.

This is the story of an emotionally damaged child trying to survive and overcome the unfair expectations placed on him. And its a pretty entertaining trip.

Here's a better synopsis I found while looking for the raws:

It's not great, but I feel it's better than the single sentence we currently have. But go read the novel, it's great. I'm not good at writing reviews, but damn, this novel is one of my favorite books of all time.

a really refreshing read. If you gather most of the OP MCs you find, and compare them to this guy, you find that this dude is just, plain smarter. Its a parody of your standard isekai novel, and a really good one at that. Reading this, I began to think whether the MCs of other novels are just plain dumb, or have superhuman levels of tolerance and compassion. The viewpoint that we see is something that I haven't seen taken up before. Quite an enjoyable read

really out of the usual tropes and fantasy novels about RE-doing. Really LOVE it!!!!!

The "hero" comes back in time and redoes with practical knowledge from the first walkthrough and by taking every shortcut he can lay his hands on !!!

Really good just as Everyone Else is a Returnee. Where the MC isn't the usual one, doesn't make s*upid choices where you say "oh, that's right, it's just a novel, or just a tv-serie, or just a film". He shapes reality by wit and a smart mind.

The plot exceeded so many of my expectations and preconceptions. It continued to fill in and flesh out everything I thought was just gloss at the beginning.

The last few arcs and setups were a bit lower in quality but the author handled power creep and transcendence much better than any other story that comes to mind and with fairly solid Watsonian logic.

It's also nice that it's completely translated. Although the translation quality fluctuated, it was never unreadable. My understanding is it only exists through copy-and-paste sites now since the original... more>> translator's site exploded, so that's a bummer.

I may have misunderstood the final epilogue chapter but I do think the final harem composition was strange...

Spoiler

If he wasn't already in a harem with three wives, one mistress (or "hot pack" as he calls them throughout the series), and the cheating/mol*station he does constantly, then I think the idea to give up on his first love in order to cherish his wife makes a ton of sense in theme with what he encountered and fought against with the First Hero. But he not only has members you can argue for like the Sword Princess, but he includes Elf K as one of his wives who is about as fleshed out as elven bodies are in this setting. He also was still shown to use his kissing attack on random women opponents. He seems to have at least stopped sleeping with anyone by the end, but he doesn't seem to think anything of doing everything up to that as notable. I just can't understand why he would discard his truest and longest supporter when they have mutual love other than that was the author's intention before giving in to him having a harem with other people. Honestly, she deserves someone who will treat her with kindness anyway, so I'm coming around on the idea. There may also be some language thing I'm missing where he just refers to the other women as his wives but he still has relationships with them so I honestly don't think so.

Also, I was going to add the harem tag but they have the polygamy tag and he at least denies some people from officially joining his harem.

[collapse]

Oh, the guy is also extremely rude even to people he loves and love him back. Somewhat entertaining to read about, and I really like his motivations and choices in general, but a total jerk who never gets better.

As a hero/protector/provider/etc., he's great, but he's definitely the sort of person you'd feel like there was something wrong with you while dating because he'd just treat you like garbage and as a servant. Like, imagine if a narcissist was right about how awesome they think they are about everything but also made sure to keep you beneath them with narcissistic abuse tactics. <<less

Imagine a standard isekai heroes journey to defeat the demon lord. Now exaggerate stuff to 11, add some ugly truths and introspection on how this is kinda s*upid, and it looks pretty interesting, right?

But now add a MC who is a total psycho maniac, who although has a clear view on things (most of the time), chooses to act in the most forceful approach, mostly subdue or kill, and only cares about the most random things (like flush toilets) and nothing else.

Yeah, idk, I'm conflicted about this one, although most... more>> people will either love it or hate it I guess.

I get that stories need to be exaggerated to make them more fun and interesting, but this goes so far beyond that, that I can't even... It would still be fine of it was just that, but then it tries to take itself seriously by the virtue of MC calling out bullsh*t and hypocricy in random people... The dichotomy of that is just so ridiculous that I cant even give a sh*t anymore. <<less

Honestly, while this didnt have the most complex plot, it was a pretty decent novel, it did what I feel it tried to do pretty well and it kept me entertained. The ending could have been a little better but I would say it was good enough.

At first, I absolutely hated the MC I just went in here thinking it'll be another isekai with a twisted story and then I got this I will admit I don't have the best taste in the world but what this story does well is just does the things it wants to make the MC a psychopath with skewed Morals check. Destroy the things you thought you knew about races check this all works because the story isn't trying to do something serious the author knew what he wanted to... more>> write and went for it so if you got time to kill turn your brain off and go for a ride with Kang Han-Soo <<less

This is a much more pessimistic look on the isekai genre.

True, the summoned person is basically kidnapped and forced to repair a sinking ship, but this is very in your face about it. It's very satirical, but also with a dark twist that reminds me of black humor.

Didn't take me long to realize that this isn't my thing, as the MC's constant negativity is annoying, as he treats everything and everyone as something he must tolerate to get home, since he already killed them all in the first run and... more>> was forced to redo the time period And then the world judged him for having an opinion of his own and not being the perfect little hero.... <<less

I read till 200+ chapters before giving up. MC's personality left much to be desired. I know its out of the norm like many post above me said about MC not going the typical cliche route and actively destroying them but sometimes I just don't understand what is happening. MC gains op skill every few chapters. I just don't feel connected to MC or any of the characters introduced so far. Romance is nonexisting so far. MC just sleep with some npc to calm his urge at times. Also mentions... more>> his mom being great too many times. He feels like getting beaten by his mom with tennins racket if he creates a harem yet still sleeps with random women. Randomly killing npc's the cruelest way possible for no specific reason but getting some exp. Random mentions of bones makes me feel author is a medical student. It's get annoying at times. No idea if it gets better on later chapters but I stopped reading after 200+. <<less

Reading this novel is like having a strange dream where you are given overwhelming power but have no inhibitors and just follow your primal evil instincts. The MC is OP. He's also evil but not in a cunning cold-blooded way, rather in the "kill whoever you want to kill, f*ck hot girls if you have a chance, follow your objectives without a care" way. Honestly, I liked this type of story where you can just turn off your brain and enjoy the power trip. There's one major flaw, though. Just... more>> like a dream, this story doesn't really follow rational logic. Its worldbuilding and power levels are a mess and the more you read, the more plotholes are there. I think that things were still decent enough up until the arc where the level limit was raised to 9999 for the first time. But the problem was - after this arc's end the MC was nerfed as well as the world, the level limit got reverted to 999 again, opponents got weaker and even though the MC got more and more powers, he just wasted them without getting new skills (even though he could) and many of them were forgotten. When the first half of the main plot was over with a "plot twist" that started the second part of the whole story (around chapter 250 or so) things got worse as the MC got nerfed, most of his abilities, and many plot threads also got forgotten. I'd say that it's still was worth reading as there's non-stop action and some great humor. But for the time being, I'm not going to complete it, maybe only when the whole translation is out. <<less

Chp 75 of manga is 47 for novel

Honestly I dropped this early when
Spoiler

elf lady and princess got killed at chp 10 of manga

[collapse]
and was pissed off and just recently decided to give this a go again and wow it was worth the wait.

I think the author should have let reader get more familiar with MC backstory on how he became what he is now. We get a basic idea early on but the points really hit later on.

But Damm MC is insane and its great

Basically a story of a guy who better suits the idea of the hidden super final boss trying to become a hero and doing all kinds of good in the worst way possible. Absolute laugh riot when he tries kill a boss enemy and destroys several villages or tries to stop a drought and ends up flooding the whole continent and loses any good reputation he tried to get.
