His girlfriend, however, is full of complaints, for Zhang Siyi never has time for her. She breaks up with him in a fit of rage while throwing coffee over him.
Zhang Siyi manages to dodge the coffee, but unfortunately, it hits the guy behind him instead. Just when he is about to do something about it, the guy dismisses him and leaves.
Zhang Siyi thought that would be the end of it, but who would’ve thought that the very next day, he will meet the man again… in a job interview. And being hired by him will be just the beginning.

- The intricate details regarding architectural work that feels like the author has expansive knowledge of the field
- The gradual development of the MC and ML relationship from complete strangers to mentor-mentee and eventually to lovers. I can imagine that this is a realistic developing relationship.

- Good interpersonal relationships for MC and ML that are important to both of them and can be independent of their romance (coworkers, friends, family.. Etc..). I think that when I get to the point where MC and ML come out to their families this will strengthen their relationship further bc currently they're learning to communicate and team work more in their relationship
- MC growing from a fresh young graduate who doesn't quite know how to adult to a mature adult in both professional and personal life
- ML's hesitancy in a relationship with MC yet still can't resist being drawn in MC's orbit ?
Things I don't like:THEY MET AS CHILDREN! And I enjoy the fact that the readers don't find out until after their relationship has developed quite a bit! Which makes it feels like a fated connection, but even without this detail their relationship is still strong
- In the beginning, the balance between just enough architectural career details and plot details isn't very good. Sometimes I feel like the architecture stuff can make the chapter feels tedious to read especially since in the beginning the relationship between MC and ML isn't that great yet so there isn't enough romance to balance out the career stuff.

Overall: Good slow build romance. Be aware that the build is super slow, but once the romance starts the novel is very cute!!MC's mom as a danmei fan. I am not sure how I feel about this yet until future chapters. I don't think I will like it if the mom ships ML and MC just bc she is into danmei. Based on the latest chapters though I think the novel will go to the "Mom likes danmei but not quite into idea of a gay son" which I think is more realistic.
