With regards to this story, I had a certain expectation, perhaps that's why it was a bit more disappointing for me. Unfortunately, its development became tedious, with no progress in the MC or his relationships. After a few arcs, the story becomes dragged out to the point where I was counting the chapters to finish. The ending was so abrupt that I was left in disbelief, thinking: What? It's over? Is that it?

I have mixed feelings about this one.

On one hand, the writing is genuinely entertaining to me. The different arcs were fun to read, and I got attached to a few characters. The "switch target" mechanic was done in a way that kept me engaged and amused by the story. The MC is also not annoying so that's a plus.

On the other hand, I was extremely abused by the author!!! The 1v1 is true, but horrible. Most of the endgame MLs in each arc were not satisfying at all and just... more>> made me want to toss my phone out a window (I'm still not over Si Wuxing dying so early!!) The epilogue was so harrowing and stressful that when I finally finished there was no satisfaction, just relief that my torture was finally over.

5 stars for the experience. <<less

this novel is not my cup of coffee.

the protagonist is so messed up to the point that I don't know the real CP.

the 1st arc is just so heart breaking, MC attitude towards the protagonist is just meh where as the protagonists love him so much and nobody gets happy ending only BE.

So what's the point of this whole mess up relationships?

From the very first time, MC didn't have any goal in life, the system was utterly unreliable, unclear ML which made me think that this novel was a reverse harem.

I kinda got bored at chapter 7.

I mean it was good at first but the "showing love" face or whatever you call it really annoyed me bc it was really unnecessary imo.

Yes it was funny at first especially with that guy MC was with first who was a scumbag pretending to be a gentleman but it got boring real quick. I honestly wished the MC would've talked back more fiercely instead of being so passive but oh well, can't have everything.

ML was a little bland, although just take it with... more>> a grain of salt since I only read up to chp 7. He was already possessive over MC when they just met AND there was like, no chemistry whatsoever but that's okay if you just wanna get straight into the romance since it's a world hopping novel.

Just my opinion tho, other arcs might be better and that I didn't give it enough of a try which is why I made it a 3 star rating but yeah maybe I'm just too picky. <<less

woah I usually don't give low rating but this story seems really not my cup of tea, I don't like the MC getting involve with a lot of people with too much intimate actions too! It was okay if it was pretend and light teasing probing but welp this has YANDERE stuffs so if you're not really into changing mls until my ML get strong enough. I do not recommend this. I really am thankul for translations.

I really enjoyed this novel for the most part, there was a few parts where I wasn't having a good time but overall it was alright. I feel like as I kept reading it got even worse, the first few arcs were really good but it slowly dipped in quality in the later arcs. I would probably give this a 2.5/5 because even with all of it's problems, I really really enjoyed it and I kind of like yanderes a bit too much. The focus on imprisonment was a bit... more>> too much for me, it seemed like every arc the MC just had to get imprisoned.

Even though this is a world hopping novel, it focuses more on the romance between characters instead of the world building.

Spoiler

A lot of the worlds he hops to are very simple and don't need much description so it's easy to picture such as ABO, zombie apocalypse, virtual world, and cultivation.

[collapse]

This novel contains yanderes (a lot of them), cannibalism, imprisonment, and r*pe, a LOT of r*pe which will probably deter people from reading this. All of these are in the tags so it's to be expected but it's to a point where it becomes too much.

The MC does get with someone in the end but it takes a long time to get to that point.

Spoiler

In the end, we find out every character is apart of the ML which I thought didn't make much sense. Mainly because some characteres are so vastly different. Some of them r*pe the MC and are overall really mean to him and treat him like crap. They even tie him up and threaten to kill him sometimes.

This is a hilarious yandere-filled life-or-death action story. I have only read the first arc so far, but it was suspenseful enough to read in one sitting. The first arc involves a post-apocalyptic zombie world, and the MC has the power to heal, which is great for support but terrible for offense. Thanks to his system, he has to jump to clamor favor with one guy after another, which changes based on who the system considers the strongest. So, basically, he has to suck up to the toughest honcho around... more>> and work with them in the hopes of protecting his miserable life.

Although a number of yanderes have appeared already, they each have different personalities and behaviors distinguishing them from one another. I enjoy it when two or more yanderes encounter each other because it's always a cue for something to explode, whether it's metaphorically or literally.

The MC is pitiful but still cute. His actions are all reasonable, and he just wants to survive and avoid punishment from the system.

So far, I really enjoy this series and have high hopes for it. <<less
