This game could actually guide the player to meet with girls by predicting the future——

Was this true? If it was, please let me meet with the daughter of the capitalist family that I looked up to, Mochizuki Rika, and the innocent model student Nakajima Konoha. In order to meet the heroines within the in-game time limit of five days, the curtain was pulled to the daily struggles with the game itself.

Hmmm being the first to review this I think im gonna take this a bit seriously.

It's good. No seriously, im not just saying that because im some incoherent nobody who can't explain a novel in detail, it's just a bit early to judge on a whole. What I can give are the current positives and negatives.

Positives

  • Humorous
  • Decent School setting
  • Relatable for single people (myself included)
  • No cookie cutter template main characters (at least not yet.....)

It's good. I usually don't like japanese in terms of novel (I prefer anime) but this is good. I just don't like the fact that there's only 1 volume...

I was not a fan, so I dropped it in C2. The MC, who gets the prediction app, is annoyingly dense (ex. messing up clicking the characteristics of the heroine and not checking the app, believing a heroine will pop up conveniently for him if he goes home and plays video games, not realizing the app actually tells the future until several things all lined up and was shoved in front of his face [it tells his schedule perfectly, including a unique lunch, as well as his friends + exact... more>> dialogue... and he still didn't believe it until he got the kanji reading right in class], and he messes up simple options like inviting 2 friends to hang out vs video games [he chose video games, when he could have at least TRIED the friends one and then done video games anyway if it didn't work out]).

Some other issues include it being very repetitive (another reviewer mentioned this) - he plays the game to predict the future, then it still goes through telling it again in real life, which is unnecessary and makes the story feel bogged down. It also lacks description in some scenes. For example, when he decides to diverge after playing video games with his grandfather, the novel doesn't say what he does other than wait for midnight. So... what was the point of the divergence? Instead of just waiting in his room for midnight (midnight is when the app reactivates for the next day), he could have just played video games until it was near midnight, like his 73-year-old grandfather wanted.

But the biggest issue for me is that having a prediction app means much of the MC's rewards are unearned by his own merits. He follows what the game says, selects options (which are extremely obvious and uninteresting, as several of the bad ones say things like "jump off roof" or "wear bag over head", which are obviously very s*upid). Having something predict the future so perfectly means he follows a script and gets rewarded for the most part, but I prefer MCs who strive with their own abilities/effort and are rewarded for doing so. This MC is extremely dense and does not do anything or show anything to suggest he deserves anything. <<less
