EDIT: I've decided to start translating this novel for fun.

(31/10/20) edit 2: Stopped tl'ing because I was somewhat bored of the raws, and PoE released a new league. May restart updates soon, mostly of c8-20 which are already tl'd to a comprehensible state.

(9/11/20) OK guys, I won't lie to you, I won't be tl'ing this novel, partly because I have better things to do... Ahem, the main reason is that the unpaywalled raws are in a highly corrupted state after ~ch 350 and I cbf paying peanuts online.... more>> Other than that, nothing really happens for the first few hundred chapters (as expected of a slice of life), and the way that the author writes notes pointing out his own shoddy literary skills every ten chapters really doesn't motivate me to further tl, or even read. Could sum up the whole tl experience by "don't tl without finishing the raws".

Thus, it's more of a slice of life novel as the MC seeks to explore exactly what goes on in the 'normal' process of cultivation, as the MC himself achieves immortality in the very first chapter.
