Embarrassing!  She wanted to curse.  He’s a stalker!

Now, what is he up to?!

Remembering the “wolf” on the train, Xiang Ti was so ashamed.  She just wanted to dig a hole and hide!

Admittedly, this man was the most outstanding and attractive she’d ever encountered.

But her plan in life did not include marriage.  She wants to focus on a career and live life like the modern woman.

Her whole image exuded the “don’t offend me” message, however —

This man did not heed the warning and pursued her persistently!

Although there were not many suitors before her “stalker”, but she was still dissatisfied with this “wolf”.

Even if he used his eyes to worship her, and generously praised her beauty, she is not happy!

Because she didn’t want to fall in love with any man.

But when he smiles, why can’t she stop thinking about him?!

Why is this happening, when she is never one to be seduced by the “male beauty” before?!

But he’s proven to be a sly fox.  How is she supposed to resist?!

I won't review this harshly since I can understand the fast paced romance since it only has 10 chapters/ It is just a short story. The stubbornness of the Female Lead is quite understandable because of her childhood experience. It's easier said than done, those people who is overly shitting how stubborn she is obviously don't know anything.

I can also understand how the Male Lead tempted her to bed, he's handsome, hot, and he obviously likes her so why not? It's 2000s people!

Also, the cond*m part, I don't... more>> have a problem. FOR THEM. I am not encouraging unprotected and unsafe s*x here. The female MC is quite special since the guy loved her and really wanted to take responsibility. I mean not all guys are like the Male MC, even if a guys tell you he loves you better be safe than sorry. <<less

Romance between a tough female lead with a distrust in men and a charming male lead. Both these characters come from broken homes and have an underlying distrust of people, however the male lead falls for the MC and decides to pursue her. Given the backgrounds and personalities of the characters, the story and relationship progress are rather choppy and abrupt, while the female lead can be a bit too sharp at times then cave in rather quickly, appearing inconsistent. The male lead is nice enough, slightly shrewd, and keeps... more>> his distance from outsiders, but there’s nothing too distinct about him.

The concept of the story is not bad, however it was a little short for the plot so the character development and story were rushed, while there weren’t a lot memorable moments – cute, funny or bittersweet – that could evoke emotions from the readers. 2.5 <<less

The story pretty much can be written off as a wish fulfillment. The FL is apprently "not that pretty" and she's a cold, career woman. The ML is basically perfect; he's handsome, successful, charming, and is supportive of the FL's career.

Except- ... more>>
Spoiler

When he finally breaks down her walls and gets into her pants, he "unknowingly" does so unprotected. This is written off as him just being really into her but please know that this is not acceptable behavior in real life. And also, wtf. I understand being against the abortion of his own child but to believe that she would get into an accident to get rid of the child for even one second is despicable. AND HE DIDN'T EVEN REALLY REDEEM HIMSELF AT THE END. So yeah, he wasn't so perfect after all.

Decent translation. I can excuse the pacing since it is a short story but something about their "love" felt very shallow making everything that happened near the end feel pointless and even nonsensical.

I can't really delve into why I'm giving it a low rating without spoiling so once again...
Spoiler

One of my biggest pet peeves about romance stories like this, is how authors just out of nowhere radomly throw in an accident to serve as conflict. (Again, because it felt like a wish fulfillment story it's likely because of the absolute lack of conflict since the ML is basically perfect and the FL has issues but the story doesn't treat it as seriously as it should.) If you read my first spoiler tag, you already know what the accident is.

It was a great story for a change of pace after reading a more than thousand chapter kind of stories. It was meant to be a short chapter story so I could understand the fast pacing. It's really funny on how they always have unprotected interc**rse and the MC beats him up for it. Though, I admire that he's willing to take responsibility for it and love her unconditionally.

Typical romance novel, a good one to read when you run out of other novels...

The main female lead is too stubborn, in my opinion...

The main male lead has a decent personality, made a mistake but was willing to do anything to win the female lead back... Applaudable.

Overall, the story was mainly about how the male lead chased after the female lead with only a few chapters at the end with them really in a loving relationship. Their banter is pretty cute.

The novel is simple.

Although the ML was 'not a cold-ice-face-ceo' type.. And the FL was not 'naive-doormate-beauty'... Both FL & ML quite a stong character.

The story plot also nice.

This story was quite good. It was fast-paced but it was understandable since it's just 12 chapters. Unfortunately, I couldn't give this story 5 stars because of ML.

ML wasn't the worst character that I've ever read but he wasn't that far from it. He was a smart man so he must know about the consequence of not using a protection when he did "it" so I could assume that he "deliberately" made MC pregnant. And I dislike him because of it.

MC still had a huge trauma towards marriage and being a mom. She repeatedly mentioned it to ML but ML, instead of slowly making her accept marriage and having children, he directly made MC pregnant. It was so cruel for MC. It was like she was forced to accept the circumstance that she really wasn't ready for.

And don't forget how he accused her of deliberately killing her own child by crashing herself to a speeding motorcycle when she accidentally had a miscarriage. He chose to believe an outsider who he knew very well had another motive towards him instead of MC. I really wish MC didn't forgive him and ended up with someone better instead.

Well, at least in the end, he repented himself. And when he and MC had another child, he even helped MC to get back to work because he knew she loved her job but didn't feel at ease to leave her baby to an outsider. His idea was quite good too: he will build a nursery room with professional baby sitter at MC's company so MC could work in ease while having her chile near.

Only reason for 4 star is I hated the ML at one point.

Story is funny, modern and realistic. The FL has reasons for not wanting love but he really pursued her and wins her over!

The story is typical, typical could be good however this one is anything but. The writing, the plot, the development speed, the romance, the consistency of the MC's character, the maturity of both the leads, all desire improvements. Situations are forced or just plain wrong, some conversations overly dramatic. There are glaring holes in the story. For example:

MC stressed so much about no man no love no marriage no child yet didn't use any protection when they have s*x. She said the child was an accident, but they already had s*x many times already ("one night stand to one thousand" as said in the story). How is that called "accident"?? The male lead seemed to undertand her resistance toward marriage, his unrelentingly attacking is fine, but regard s*x shouldn't he propose protection until her attitude was less apprehensive first?

If this is not a forced situation to forcibly make MC change her attitude and speed up their relationship, then it's the leads being irresponsible and inconsiderate. Anyhow by this point I already lost my respect to both main characters. And yet both of them was described as successful (meaning they should be well educated or at least have a good head on their shoulders, smh).

[collapse]

I wish I didn't have to give a 1-star, but it's not even close to 2 in my opinion, plus it's already pale in comparison to many short romance in NU alone. <<less
