This book is more a story of growth than anything. Both main characters are indeed flawed, but this just makes for a beautiful love story that undergoes many misunderstandings and conflict.

The reason why its such a low rating in my opinion is partly because ppl are comparing the novel to the drama which is a definite NO-NO and partly because of the TROLLS. The female lead is someone who stands up for herself, while the male lead is someone who everyone tries to manipulate, although he conceals this underneath his... more>> calm appearance.

The female lead might seem... really unconventional especially what she does in the first few or five chapters or so. But it's not really her fault for having such a low paying job in the first place and the event basically propels her fate towards the ML if you'll think of it that way.

This novel most of all, is about two characters that grow and mature as they realize that they come to realize that they can never let go of each other, no matter how much they may try. <<less

This is a really wonderful romantic novel. It starts when the main protagonist is a student, and follows her as she becomes a professional interpreter. The story is told from both the mc's points of view.. The best part is neither of the characters are typical. They are flawed characters and that's probably why the reader can identify with them

The female lead is exasperating. They both love each other, but she always treats him badly because of her she feels pressured she doesn't have a good background. And most of the book they're separated and he's hurting and chasing after her and she keeps rejecting him.

There's something seriously wrong with her:

A pair of immature lovers happily swimming in the indoor tank, and suddenly gets thrown into the ocean..

A lot of heart-wrenching dramas and scheming, but it's probably their unique telepathic connection that reunites them both in the end.

Afterall love conquers all...

It's a good story, the pace is fast but I like how it goes. It's not about the flawless characters (as usual novel). A little taste of western Harlequin, a quite heart-wrenching reading.

At the moment in time when I am reading this, the series is coming to a close on a massive cliffhanger... am seriously hoping the epilogue will give me some decent closure. I read this through in almost one sitting, can't stop really. The storyline is the usual rich boy poor girl and does dwell into all the ensuing cliches but the MCs are complex and flawed, but this makes them more realistic and relatable. Read this if you like your heart going through a wringer.
