PSA: as of chapter 10, the translators at sereneandtranquil have dropped this novel.

In my opinion, you're not missing out on too much. Each chapter is relatively short and direct to the point. Very quickly the premise is established: a modern, average woman found herself in another world and is immediately declared to be the wangfei (main wife) of a handsome prince with an outwardly cold facade. The MC is modern minded and this of course intrigues the suspicious man.

The translators seem to be stymied by the constant changes in POV... more>> and tried their best to tailor the dialogue accordingly, but they still did a good job.

For those who are disappointed in their decision to drop it, you can try Favored Intelligent Concubine, at least the premise and the behaviour of the female MC is very similar (ditzy and brazen). <<less

She was prophesied to fall out of the sky and land in the Prince's courtyard to be his wife. So they know she's from another world etc.

The prince immediately takes to her, but he has the kind of cold humor (dead-pan jokes with a straight face, and teasing sarcasm) that she doesn't like. Or maybe she just cant take a joke.
