800 years ago, 3000 dimensional gates opened across the entire world. In that moment, it was as if 3000 different colored eyes opened across the world as hordes of monsters swarmed out of these gates like tears.

Some could destroy city walls with one strike; They had bodies the size of a giant and fed on humans

Some latched onto humans, absorbing their bodies’ nutrients and enslaving humans

Some infiltrated the humans’ cities, disguising themselves as normal human beings while feeding upon human blood to sustain themselves.

In a night, the Human race fell to the bottom of the food chain.

The world had turned into a paradise for monsters…

First of all I only reach this chapter because I tolerated it's plot holes and dumb MC and enemies because there's only few novel which focus on beast companions so I don't want to drop this but I seriously can't now bcz seriously this novel doesn't want the readers to think. After reading a lot of novels this novel becomes that have high potential because it's like yu-gi-oh but didn't even reach the foot of that potential and probably will never reach it

Spoiler

Well here we are first of all he travel to that monster world from Earth and got a cheat and a shitty life wheel whereas he only have 3 months to live and A VAMPIRE invaded their house that the f***king detector failed to spot that monster (there is a detector where they detected monster incase monster slipped into the base of humans this was explained in later chapter) and coincidentally this monster got into their house which is not even in the corner of the fricking base and well this sh*t continue till now in ch 664

and there's a lot more and I won't list it all. Basically he makes dumb choice and thinks that simple plan he has is such a genius idea that nobody will figure it out or something like that. If you throw this guy in the novel where character thinks this guy will die countless times <<less

C1175. Still quite legible. But i'll have to lower my rate to 3.5/5. Mainly because changes in MC's personality which doesn't have any clear trigger, even if it has the real cause, it's not clear which one is it, and instead of being called as development, compared to how MC in earlier chapters, it's more like degradation; less careful, easily complacent, more dependant on summon, doesn't have real thought because of dependence of summon assistances.

I like how MC always thinking to get stronger because he was weak before, but those... more>> feeling almost none left as now he doesn't even consider any danger he faced as serious threat. It's funny how those threats doesn't come to him and likely still wait for him until he can slap them, remember the Death Queen? Yep, it'll be forgotten until the time when MC can one-slap-kill her.

And there some cases where it feels like author is MC's parent. "All he need, it's all there before he realized it". The clear example would be number of virtual gods that increased all of sudden just right when he need a lot of godheads & broken godheads from these beings. No indication of them for almost a thousand chapters. And how much of a coincidence the Royalty and Dynasty came to being right at the time he wants to make an independent organization.

Spoiler

Royalty is an entity for out of gravel world so it's understandable. Dynasty on the other hand, clearly has a branch in division 7 but never got mentioned until he get to division 3, same as Misery & Mystic butterfly got mentioned as of late at division 1, while Purple Crow which has some back story with MC getting brushed away just like that. Their roles ended, switched with unclear Misery out of nowhere.

This makes the story became less and less attractive as what it supposed to be..

Around chapter 800-1100, I got a feeling that there was a different author who pick the story up because of several points above. Hopefully it won't get ruined and will become something enjoyable just like before.

......

I'm reviewing this at C740.

Good one. 4/5 stars. One among few ones that i, personally deemed as worth-to-read. I can laugh for the jokes and feel characters feeling between the interactions. For me, this point is a plus. Not many novel can suck you to their world nowadays.

When I saw some review about MC getting everything he wants chocked to his mouth by the author, I hesitated, as those kind of novel usually a rotten pumpkin, so I didn't put too much hope. Luckily I still tried to read it, and it worth my time, at least till the current chapter.

From my POV, MC doesn't always getting everything he wants.. He works, plan, strategizing, utilize any means he had to get them. If it's talent, he's mediocre at best, other people call him genius but it's his Goldfinger, and good thing he doesn't flaunt it around like typical spoiled-ret*rd young master MC. He's OP? Nope, as I said, he exploit everything within reach, and he know his limit. His default settings when transferred already included with his Goldfinger, so whatever he gets until now, still logically acceptable based on his abilities.

There's some redundant words, and double-copy-paste sentences I found, but TL is not a transcendental beings so they surely made mistakes, still readable. Other thing is that the romantic flavor still too thin and slow, while some side characters kind of missing-in-action. Maybe later they'll reappear since I'm not even halfway, I guess. The rating will be updated later.

Lastly, their world and Life Power cultivation system is pretty interesting.

As for is it recommended? Sure! <<less

Overall it's a enjoyable read, there are not many annoying tropes except the 9393 assessments and virtual battles...

I read this when I'm bored, there is nothing exceptional about the plot

... more>> There are no annoying young masters and female characters aren't necessarily attracted to the ML. The side characters actually behave like normal human beings, people don't underestimate the MC because he wears low quality clothes or make his life difficult because they're bored.

I feel like some side characters are even more interesting than the MC tho

The MC is a flat character. Except wanting to be strong to protect himself and his family, he has no goal. He is the usual hardworking serious MC

There is nothing much to say about the world building for now

The actions scenes are sometimes enjoyable, sometimes annoying but the good thing is that, the battles last for 1 to 4 chapters. So skipping isn't a problem when you don't like it

The plot is pretty straightforward, he trains, attains a level, go to assessments and so one. There are some events in between that disrupt the usual cycle. Anyway I find it boring now

Hope there will be more mystery or new interesting characters. <<less

Its basically a decent novel about Hearthstone IRL. I found the MC to be too adapting and moving on too fast. The novel is not bad, but it didn't get me reading past the desert arc.

3*, nothing special. Maybe I will revisit this again if there is nothing else to read.

I really really like this novel been here since ch. 120, and I'm re-reading it for the 3rd time and I'm still baffled during ch. 164-165, he was a participant in the hunter association regular thingy and they had a mission to find the black crystals. During this time, Lin found their base (Heisen Castle) and killed all of the people there with Bai. And during the instructor meeting they were talking about the massacre, no surveillance camera was able to capture it. And they talked about staff, and from the previous chapters. Ive just been thinking if they are staff of the RHA (regular hunters association) or staff of the Weed Technology. Cuz if they were staff of RHA, its really fcked up since they didnt announce the death of their people and I dont even know if Lin had any sympathy to their families since he just jacked off for the next hundred chapters and left D7. And if they were the staff of WT, then the author shouldve given more reasons as to why they shouldve died. The only info they have on WT is the 'drug'. Cuz even with how PC (Purple Crown) did their killings it shouldnt have affected him too much to massacre people. And I know he was 25 in his previous life but he was pretty much a shut-in. He went to the world and he was 15, killed and felt nothing... Okay??? But I just want answers because it has been bugging me for the past 2 years. And this is the only time it came back to my mind again. I want ANSWERS!!!!

A three because it's honest a decent summoner novel. So far almost every summon has some screen time, battle are one to four chapters.

While it's quite good, it has a lot of info dumps about the monster the MC is going to fight and makes the fight sometimes extreme boring. Another down is that MC has... way too many plot armor scenes. Some important info aren't properly explained and sometimes mention late into the story. The story also focuses a lot more on him cultivating and battling by himself.

But the... more>> story is interesting and if you like having a summoner MC then this is a good choice to read <<less

the story for the first while is quite good up until you get to what should be smart minor characters. For instance hunters that are two or three grades above him that should have experienced this type of thing before.

The instructor for a test for our MC ends up being a bit of a dim person who is really unimaginative. The MC for the entire transcendent episode beginning to end is leading her around and feeding the whole hero org ideas on what should be done.

This bothers me because shouldn't... more>> the hero org have contingency plans for this sort of thing. Wouldn't they put a smart/experienced instructor in charge of testing recruits. At least some of his battle plans must have been used before else ware they are just pain common sense. <<less
