If you happen to be a semi fan of Naruto and want to read some not total sh*t fan fiction where we all know where its going to go. Then read this, but I suggest you read to spoiler before starting to read.

Spoiler

Has problems with advancement and plot. Him and his teammates gain power to fast compared to other people in the world. (Remember his teammates are normal cultivators not some ninja bullshit.) Uses every ninjitsu under the sun (lightning, fire, wind, illusion, wood) when in that world most people have one element type. No one seriously questioned this? Then when its revealed when cultivators reach deity level they gain the life span of 10000 years, author added plot device. Absorb this twig and you will live for ever.... The Actual f*ck Author! Every mission he gains have rewards such as kill this difficult thing in x amount of time or your power will be sealed for ever or ten years. This would not be bad if not for the fact he doesn't accept them! They are automatic! So if the author tries to suspense by adding these missions, the fails hard because he can't fail due to progression. The author also towards the end has a scene that makes no sense. Our hero starts to mow down weak soldiers and the demonic army generals are appalled! They even said its wrong to bully the weak! Even though their leader did the same thing! Also they are demons and they were hanging humans up on metal trees to extract their blood! It look like a scene from HELL and they want to moral fag! Almost every cultivator who has a bit of power or status is a bully since the strong eat the weak!

Ugh... I really shouldn't have red this... At least there wasn't any permanent damage done, since the story was short, and it can be finished in 2-3 days. Bad character development and interactions, badly inserted chakra system in cultivation world and bad ending. Only thing that wasn't absolutely terrible, was the MC - he was bad, but there wasn't over the top plot armor or him, neither was the logic bending for him.

If you're gonna read this then:

Pros:
-Naruto theme? I guess.

Cons:
-Earlier characters which built the start were completely forgotten
-Boring dragged-out fights, MC can literally obliterate a whole army with awesome Naruto techniques yet chooses to fight mano to mano just to later overwhelm the enemy to inflate his own ego
-Translation is meh, reading it sometimes hurts
-Naruto Logic was a complete failure
-Most of the chapters were just explanations of the things in Naruto which we already know *sighs*
-Template Villains
-Romance is tr*sh
-RUSHED ENDING, honestly it... more>> felt like I was thrown under a train

If you really want to read this story then just read it and don't think too much. Take everything with a pinch of salt and you might just find it somewhat enjoyable. <<less

Novel: 3/10 points.

Story: Naruto fanboy is transported into a cultivation world and has the unique "Naruto system" cheat. Instead of learning magic/being a fighter he is the only ninja in that world. He tries to get stronger to find a way back to his old world, while forming his own organisation (akatsuki) and fighting cannonfodder.
-Warning: He often writes paragraphs about (jutsu) "facts" of naruto, which ain't true. Like saying 3rd raikage is the fastest shinobi.

Style: It's an average chinese webnovel, this author would not be able to sell any... more>> books (examples in the spoiler below).
Spoiler

- Much fillers (author repeats himself often without bringing anything to the story)
-unneccesarry information
-fights are dragged out unneccesarry (MC always starts fights not only with his weakest techniques but also with elemental disadvantage - using fire against earth- so that the fights are lasting 5 chapters instead of 2.
- MC explains to his enemies MIDFIGHT what moves he just did....
- Author is inconsistent ("his sharingan can see through all illusions" 5ch. later "Oh I can't see through this illusion" 5ch. later "this is useless against me I can see through all illusions with my sharingan"
- Baaad romance haha (you will understand what I mean when you reach the teacher part).

[collapse]

And most important: He struggles against every powerlevel just the same lol. No, I don't mean every fight after he advances feel the same... I mean he just struggles with his "current powerlevel" just the same vs a highdeity/lowgod/highgod...

TL: average Translation, sometimes words like "the" are missing. <<less

Let's see this is a story about a guy that gets owned by his computer exploding and then revives in the body of a person who got owned by a crappy life. Now he arrives in a new world with powers unlike any other existing powers Naruto Powers, guess whose turn it is to get owned, anyone in his way.

well that said the story is actually more solid than most CN novels that have constant power ups, rare items, and other annoying things like sects and weird techniques that are... more>> a pain to remember. Most otaku people are familiar with Naruto so the side benefits of reading about are a plus. It still acts like a CN with utter ruthlessness from the characters. Still the novel has a decent goal but the power rankings of fighters is a tad bit confusing so that's a minus. Overall decent read ranking above regular CN power genre but it isn't masterpiece level. Characters aren't constantly revolving around the MC but have their own motivations and problems but development of characters is only low level and could have been done better.

Though that said it had so much to work off of aside from the Naruto hook, it did well world building but just did not develop enough to reach greatness. Arcs themselves have characters that appear but do nothing other than serve as talking partners for the MC, characters appear once and are names, given powers and plot points are made but not used except once. There are so many ways this novel could have done better. That said this novel still has its enjoyable points, like the whole what if we give Naruto powers in a Xuanhuan novel about cultivating, I mean there are triple digit cultivation novels but they just follow the same pattern of power levels, face slapping of some idiot noble, sudden plot armoring for near death, like chance occurence or harem forming through the s*upid noble gestures every MC does. This novel breaks that pattern, our MC only has one deus ex machina moment at the start, he flirts and wins hearts but is not dense or harem forming (so far), there is some face slapping but it is light and not the focus, and he isn't all knowing or everything doesn't always go his way which I found refreshing and interesting despite the unused potential. So 3/5 is warranted, 4/5 for some sort of faux originality parody in a Xuanhuan cultivating story.

After reading the final chapter

After the finale though I got the same feeling I got when I read the last few chapters of a manga getting axed. It wrapped up all things ridiculously fast with a terrible ending, it had potential, but it skipped over character arcs that could have been done, the teammates didn't get proper plotlines for themselves except maybe one or two, but it could have done them and made the characters more than 1 dimensional side notes in the story. The ending killed it for me, it resolved it yes in a semi-believable way but it left so many unanswered questions and plotpoints despite the author's attempt to cleanly end this story and had me say "come one really you're ending on this note?"

Final take is 2/5 well I kind of enjoyed since I'm a naruto fan so 3/5 for you naruto lovers that want to see ninjutsu used in Chinese Xuanhuan. Read this to fill the time but don't expect too much. Also low expectations for the climax. <<less

This is a good novel. I'm addicted to it. Want to know what happen next. Very excited at the new technique that he can use. Can't imagine how is it if he using more OP jutsu at the same time xD

Everything with the stories is good as long as I'm patient to read it. Explanation needed even if it's long, so the readers not be clueless.

P.S: ppl tends to judge, and sometimes demanded to judge. That makes many different opinions. But if you're not s*upid, more read, less hate. Not... more>> everyone is like you, and not everyone is like anyone else. <<less

Well, I liked ti at leat :/

In all seriousness, I find this novel entertaining just by looking at how much he can break the minds of people in this world with all his weird abilities, like when a member of his clan hits him but all that he finds is a piece of wood, just imagining it made me laugh out loud.

of course, this series has its share of problems but they are overlooked by good characters and a fun story. I never expected anything too serious from the beginning... more>> and it's impossible for everything in the naruto universe to translate over correctly. Overall it's a fun read that any naruto fan, who's not too high strung with everything having to be correct, will enjoy!

That's why I gave it a 5/5, it's just flat out entertaining! <<less

It is a fanfiction with NarutoxXianxia. I read it starting chapters then dropped it. The xianxia plot in it is generic. The integration of the "Naruto System" is also not done smoothly. Its more of wish-fulfillment fanfiction where a Naruto fan transmigrates to a xianxia world. There instead of practicing cultivation, he gets a power with a helpful AI assistant which lets him acquire different powers and stuff from Naruto universe. To get them he needs to collect points by killing mobs.
The concept was good but the story is... more>> meh. You can read it to pass time but it ain't something you'll look forward to. <<less

Well, thus far the series has been "ok". Although I don't read nor watch Naruto, it was bit interesting to read the different descriptions the story gave. As to whether these are accurate or now, that's up for the fans of the actual show to decide. However, to me, it's a fun and mindless read to pass the time and if you're not wanting to waste your time digesting complex information.

I've seen some people complain about the filler fights, well they're not that bad, they could've been more interesting. Plus... more>> you can always skim through them if you so desire.

Altogether, this is something that I'll read when I've caught up with the actual series's that I follow. <<less

So this is more of a school boy written fan fiction than a LN. It seems like authors wish fulfillment. The writing is straight and simple. No prose, no complex vocabulary.

The idea is new. Giving naruto power to a reincarnator. But as far as I have read, this seems to be going on the path of JP LN. Funny thing is this idea is in a CN, instead of a JP, since this type of storylines are quite popular in JP novels.

The story is mildly humourous, the action scenes are... more>> barely okay. The antagonist attacks, the MC takes out some super ninja move, and that's it. The Antagonist is dead.

Overall it's fine, good enough to read when you need to pass some time.

PS not understood why ha sit got so many 1 stars. The story is not so terrible. <<less

This. Is. Awesome. Don't get me wrong, when I first saw the name I literally started to laugh. It wasn't enough that there is a Harry Potter xianxia novel? I was wrong. I took the advice of an earlier reviewer and distanced myself from trying to connect this with naruto and realized that this novel takes place in another world entirely. That makes it MUCH better. I think it would suck if he had been reincarnated into a world where all the juts and stuff already existed. ANYWAY, long story... more>> shorter than it could be I highly recommend this, of course grammatically it could use some work it is not mtl bad and can be overlooked <<less

It is a story that many Naruto fans wouldn't like because it so happens that the info isn't always correct. But in my opinion it deserve 4 stars and not because of the writing style, which I want to mention isn't the best one (very fast tempo and sometimes the author is very vague), but because of the amused feeling I get from reading the novel. I like the main character and how he resembles other Chinese main characters but at the same time is different (I mean that... more>> part where he blushed and felt awkward is something I have seldom read in other Chinese MC do because they are mostly cold blooded or extremely prideful. So to say our MC is more humane). He feels like a mix of the average Chinese MC and the average Japanese one for me. <<less

Very interesting idea, instead of throwing a modern man or OP futuristic MC into a fantasy cultivation world, you get a modern guy that rips off all the ninja stuff from Naruto from the clothes to the bloodline abilities. Plot is lacking a lot of character & world development tho, everything is kind of forced from why he likes Naruto, to everything about is actions pretty much (may be the author fantasy for such an event but he sure executes it poorly). Another problem is the ease of access to... more>> the reading site since there's a bunch of redirects and such (WordPress problem?), which makes it a bit difficult if your not tolerant. If your laid back and don't take this novel seriously, then it's worth a try. <<less

Ahead of time guys, apparently this novel was so the writer could fulfill his dream of something about naruto and not to become famous, in the end though apparently this novel did pretty good even if it was only some guys fantasty.

P.S don't get worked up about this plot its mostly a fun laid back comedy type novel that you read for fun.

  • side character is just bad, no personality, and always have the cliche vibe.
  • Power, basically, MC is using naruto world power system in xianxia world.
  • world build, simply author is too lazy to care, so basic, transmigration world, and beginning.
basically, this is just tr*sh system novel using naruto fan-fic to attract attention, and creativity.

Garbage.

-1 Star for unnecessary information. All I see is too much Naruto references. Yes, I understand 'Naruto System, ' but it doesn't mean that one has to keep backlogging to events that happen in Naruto Universe. So far it feels like this took up over 25% of the material I read. It has been to the point I literally been skip reading stuff to progress because I don't want to hear the MC's dumba*** relations to Naruto World to his present world. It is just filler content that looks like... more>> all it serves is to make a chapter bigger than it should be.

-1 Star for MC's name being repeatedly used fully. I don't know if it gets better or stays the same, but you don't need to use the MC's full name in every sentence. That is just cringe. Just relate to him as Ren on occasion or whatever. Not Ren Tomatoheadboy over and over again. Like the only times his full name doesn't come up is if someone is addressing him and calling him Ren. Otherwise it is always his full name when he isn't spoken about. Like, what the hell is that?

-1 Star for World Building. Ummm. I honestly don't understand what is really going on so far, even with 45 chapters in and to the School Arc I guess or whatever it is. It doesn't make sense. There is some world information, but because of all the s*upid backlogging of Naruto Verse it kinda overwrites the necessary information of the actual world the MC is in.

-1 Star for Plot. I honestly have no idea what is going on here either. MC ends up in another world in another body, yadayadayada. There are other stories there that are better that fulfill this fantasy and much better ones with system to them. This fanfiction doesn't bring much new to the table and honestly doesn't really sustain anything in terms for story elements.

Maybe I will try reading it later if I have nothing better to read, right now I am putting it on hold. It was only a spur of boredom moment and sadly this fanfiction hasn't done much to catch my interest other than being a load of gibberish; where a good quarter of content is just Naruto Universe and not the actual world MC is currently in. I am unsure how this improves down the line and really question the reviews of people giving this more than 3 stars. I really don't see this deserving 3+ star rating. From my perspective 2 is being overly generous so far and 1 seems more fitting due to former mentioned issues involving this novel.

I actually feel like the people giving more than 3 stars are some type of paid actors or whatever or they really have no sense for literature; because this novel is clearly a mess. <<less

This is a fan created novel is about your typical Chinese NEET who ended up traveling to a Chinese people filled western mixed with eastern cultivation world with a bootlegged naruto leveling system. the plot holes are large and seems strained. Trying to find reasons to commit mass mu*der and show off how awesome he is is not easy it seems.

Like any other typical Chinese reincarnated into dead body novel, the protagonist assumes the identity of this new body and all of his emotions, memories, soul, and resentment. You would... more>> think that inhabiting someone’s body would mean their life shouldn’t matter as much but no... he acts it was his life that that he some how suffered through and the previous wrongs done to the last owner is actually done to him.

and like other B rated Chinese wuxia novel, the protagonist is a psychopath with your Japanese 8th grade syndrome. The entire novel is about how he exact “revenge” on people who slight him directly or indirectly. This means complete genocides and mass mu*ders for mild disrespect and wrongs. Even if he has the power to kill his enemy in 1 shot and instead of just killing that person, he will always drag the enemies’s entire clan and family into the killings and justify it as seeking “revenge” (a typical grandiose Chinese novel trope). Anyone who resists is fair game for mu*der.

the leveling is complete bull crap. He level at rates of a few months that takes people in the naruto world years to do. He also suffers from the kleptomaniac syndromes that protagonists suffers from. If it’s good, naturally it belongs to him.

This novel also suffers from the typical lack of character development, plot development, etc.. that most CN cultivation type novels have... but just much worse. Don’t read this for romance. It doesn’t exist. The protagonist is an eternal 8th grader, I cringed reading this but continued because I was bored... but I can’t stand it anymore.

I would not recommend this novel. It’s too childish and may promote extreme violence. <<less
