One day, on a sunny leisure day, a woman visited my house and asked me if was interested in managing a dungeon along with support offered from a goddess. But of course, I refused. Eh? I shouldn’t ignore a person in trouble, moreover if it’s beautiful woman? No way, that’s too bothersome, why do I have to do that? I’m perfectly satisfied with my comfortable life now, throwing it away is just overly s*upid… …sigh, fine, so it’s go to another world, become a dungeon master, manage a dungeon and deal with the Mana circulation problem? Understood, but how to do it?

So generally I like dungeon-building novels, but here I must WARN you that the author writes like a gradeschooler (or both translators didn´t edit anything). In general there are many inconsistencies and the author doesn´t explain anything so you will find it very hard to keep track with whatever he wants to say unless you read it with 100% concentration as if your life depends on it. Besides that the translation is rather poor (no offense to translators, just look for an editor) and the story also predictable.

Sorry for this... more>> rant but after reading this novel for 15 chapters I was really disappointed and it made me mad that I wasted my time on this :/

If you still want to give it a try then take note not to waste your time if you don´t like the first 3 chapters (not prologue). Also I didn´t read far into it so it may unexpectedly become better... <<less

Don't be led astray by the unexpectedly low reviews, this novel starts really good and keeps getting better with every chapter. The MC does get strong blessings but this novel is a dungeon management one so don't expect too much action therefore no OP moments.

As a side note this novel promises heavy character growth, even female characters suffer the consequences of their acts and grow stronger and male characters aside from the MC are not disposable baddies.

Quite a deep story, if the story falls farther than its already translated.. (Chapter 8 as of now.)

It has lots of strategies and thinking involved. Also quite a harem-based story, but as usual a guy that tries to hold back. And guess what, Oppai Succubus Loli! Well, our character is a total brain type of char. But as said, with the translations down, unless you know Japanese to read the original you might not want to start it.

Honestly the as far as I got, the story itself was ok, but the translation was so abysmal I gave up. The grammar is so confusing that after arriving at chapter 14, I was no longer able to properly follow the story. I could barely understand who said what to who.

Besides: (dont know if the story or translator is at fault) POV changes without any clear details is very confusing.

I'll describe it as simple as possible..

The story is hard to follow and the personalities of every character is hard to grasp.. I don't know what genre the author wants to show, dark comedy? Serious with a bit of humor? I can't understand how strong is hero level when even a slime can beat them then the MC is afraid of armies attacking when he has so many DP that he can probably summon stronger monsters to train, install traps that can instantly kill thousands.. So far magic is not... more>> so amazing, waiting for magic that can bombard or instantly destroy dungeons so I can accept the MC being afraid of the human armies.. <<less

In simple sentence, this novel has so many inconsistent (both story & character), very bad writing (both translation & original) and too much explanation in unnecessary parts

I think the reason people say this novel is bad is a bit misguided. A pretty large player is that the translator from 1-8 was decent, the story was pretty readable. But from 9 onwards, the translator was pretty bad, and it needed a lot of self interpretation to understand. Well I'll it does follow the standard Japanese isekai novel but that can be expected from reading a JP novel can't it?

First its hard to understand story flow... not enough info and format is confusing...

Chapter upon chapter ends without any thing happening that's meaning full... just dialogs... 3 continuous chapter but nothing to forward the story flow...

After reading similar concept based story's reading this one seams like waste of time... too slow and idiotic concepts...

... more>> Concept like

1) Vilifying the victim

2) Ignoring the enemy and letting them attack again and again

3) the shear number of characters introduced when their story format makes it hard to keep track of more than 5 character..

4) few traps are used to stop the invasion of primary army of a kingdom <<less

The plot is iffy, and the POV swaps a lot, and characters somehow want to be imp**gnated by the MC who is a wimp despite being a functioning member of society before he went to the other world. Plus, airhead god theme and MC's request not amazing, but that is in many stories so it is irrelevant. Sell-point was smart and calm MC destroying ancient-ish world with modern knowledge, but changed into OP MC just beating the crap out of everyone who opposes him, and doing the impossible.

Starts decent, but quickly devolves into generic tropes.

Not to mention that the translation for the early chapters is poor quality (sadly it's what happens when machine translation meets a solo translator with a tenuous grasp on english language and no editing skills), making it harder to get into it for a new reader.

All in all, it's not completely bad, and can be entertaining at times, but don't expect a perl worthy of 5 stars ratings.

If you are into the usual fairly blank protagonists, worlds that have culture levels so low... more>> that any half-assed introduction from japanese culture become a hit, girls flocking around the main character for fairly swallow reasons, this can be your thing.

I personally find it a bit boring after having read those tropes so many times, but that doesn't have to be the case for everyone.
(insert any novel where a person without any real experience in cooking becomes revered as a cooking god for introducing any basic dish).

It's a bit sad that so many light novel authors lack the skills to actually transform a good concept into a great story, because they definitely have some interesting ideas to base their novels on. <<less

It was decent at first, off to a great start with the attitude of the MC. MC was clever and didn't seem like a typical ret*rded Japanese MC. But then the story became kind of generic.

I came here for dungeon building/management which was what it was at first, but then it quickly shifted into some other story where the dungeon is just a setting. Story is focused more on human relationships and power struggles.

Dungeons and harems, why am I not surprise when it comes to Japanese novels... What's... more>> with Japanese authors and their obsession with lolis and harems? The harem feels kind of forced. However, what I hated the most was the fact that even though MC clearly isn't a lolicon, the author was forcing lolis onto him such that they're pretty much part of his harem. There's even a possessive yandere loli who is most likely the main heroine.

The writing was confusing with random POV changes. Translations were pretty bad for the first 15 chapters or so. <<less

It's a decent novel. Starts out good, funny even. Then it get's interesting. Then there's a few chapters that are difficult to understand, but if you get past that. You end up with a nice little slice of life section.

It's worth noting that there's no real character development for the male characters except from the MC. The female characters have much deeper development and as of chapter 26, it seems as if we'll be learning a little about their pasts.

It's not ecchi as some people would probably believe with this... more>> many female characters, which is surprising. The male characters are thrown to the back burner though. They're rarely seen and the story mainly focuses on the MC and the group of women.

Overall. It's a nice read. I recommend it. You just have to get past the confusing section. <<less

where should I start??

first of all, if you want a story with dungeon making only, then I won't recommend this. Afterall this novel deviates to how a normal dungeon should be. True, the MC creates traps and monsters but this novel is not for you. Second, if you don't want information dumpings every two or three chaps I still won't recommend this to you. Third, if you want an MC suffering all the time working and you don't want to see him relaxing, then I really, really don't recommend this... more>> to you. And last of all, if you don't want girls, s*ave girls particularly, having their own thoughts and POVs, I really, really, really don't recommend this to you. Because you will probably only complain about it.

seriously speaking, seeing those dumb comments here, I'm impressed they read it still even after seeing the tags and genres put up there. If you ask me, the flow of the story is good and bad but it is balanced enough. Heck, I got a liking to it specially the infos I need at the beginning where given in the later chaps. The readers that rate this 3, I understand their complaints because I also feel that way at the beginning, though they didn't advanced through out the story and just dropped it where the story gets interesting. But the ones rate it 2 and lower, I dont understand them. They are picking the wrong novel. They complain much even though they are just readers. They also complain at the translators and editors who have MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN THEIR LIVES BUT STILL GIVE US SOMETHING TO READ. Seriously, I am ashamed that there are people like this who complains so much when they can't even do better themselves. The translators and editors are doing something like this even though they have things to think about in their own lives. It is even voluntary donations so they can also get nothing on what they are doing. And you still complain?? Why don't you just write your own. You will also do what all the authors are doing. Self-satisfaction. If you can't see the things you like in this novel, go to others. If you can't still see it, go write for your own self-satisfactory novel. Why would the authors do what you like?? You all are just small minority. No matter what you say, it may or may not affect the author. He/she may stumble in this site and see your comment but, there's still no meaning to it. I more likely read novels that satisfy the author rather than satisfy his/her reader. Why?? Because they put their own thoughts in it. For example: if the chapter is intense, the author may be full of motivation. If the chapter is easygoing, the author maybe happy and wants to share it to his/her readers through the novel. If the chapter ends up messy and written slovenly, the author might be busy or something disturbing happened in his life. You see, what you read may have something to do with the authors life and emotions. And I will remind you that the authors are living beings like you. They also have their own thoughts. That's why if you are only bullsh*ting such novels like this, please, stop it. It just proves that you have a boring life and I pity you for that. <<less

After reading so far the only way I can describe this is "uninspired". As many here mentioned, at the beginning the story looks rather promising, however it rapidly devolves from there. Dungeon management gets abandoned, author tries to replace it with town management but keeps focusing on the wrong things. And even those are rare and act as a background for mediocre harem. Not to mention that there's no thought put into the system at all. The story is prone to info-dumping. There are chapters that remind spreadsheets and majority... more>> of harem (9 people ffs) gets introduced and falls for MC in the span of two chapters. There are also tons of bad tropes you can expect from Japanese novels. Rather it feels like author wanted to collect them all. The plot is convoluted and feels forced, and, as mentioned by someone else, author suffers from severe case of indecisiveness — the amount of pointless POV changes is staggering, especially in the beginning, and the author can't decide on a genre of this novel. It's still not bad enough for me to drop it, hence three stars, but I wouldn't particularly recommend it unless you're starved for something to read. <<less

(at least not towards the people he's not interested in - he was pretty soft towards Labiris).

With the current progress of the story though, it definitely looks like it'll develop into an interesting plot. I'm looking forward for more chapters and will update this review again when I have read a sufficient amount of them.

Check it out if you're into dungeon building and witty main protagonists. <<less

I want to give this 4 stars but it was hard to read how it is written, the changing POVs and jumping off scenes. Well, I very much anticipated how the story will develops and I like the way that his dungeon will develop in a reward basis corresponding to his achievements so it has merits. But it felt too rushed, besides it is better if characters are properly developed first before introducing next. I'll write another review if this matters improved.

it was ok at the start but as it went it became more and more annoying like MC giving some woman away to his freinds or side characters because he does not wan't to increase his harem he would even try to break the flags so they don't fall in love with him like him giving them to a random character.

Then its the plot MC always works and works and always when he finishes something ne problems come and all he does is talk and talk and he spneds les time with his harem and family and author just changes the povs to side characters or characters or random mobs or to characters that having to do with the situation.

Last and most annoying MC is to good and to forgiving... like if someone does something to his harem he will do nothing like one time one of his harem members hit someone because he grabed her b**bs and MC tryed to stop it... then later on chapter another dude says to his harem member that he is better than the MC and she must go with him and that he will kill the kid she has with the MC whille going close to her trying to grab her b**bs and she gets mad and she tryed to kill him for that and then MC comes and stops it apologises to the other side for what his wife did like come on....

The MC is s*upid acting like smart, if he's clever then the people of that world is s*upid. The realism in the story is almost nonexistant, the MC of this novel is just a beta compare to others. If I compare it to dungeon's tale the difference is like day and night. Well its just my opinion of this novel

I like that the MC is not overly lustful or aiming for harem in the first place, but although he is smart, he is too soft and clueless for women's hearts. While he's cunning and try to be low key, he ended up being manipulated by those he cared for.

The MC wants democracy but he simply heard other opinion and agreeing with whatever they want. Most of his harem members are children or young. He is too soft on them and trust then blindly.

His harem members take advantage of him... more>> during sleep, even putting him to sleep with a spell. Some even want to r*pe him for the sake of being pregnant.

It's cultures crash+shock+luxury goods. The MC try to recreate Japan, but the different cultures clash and they got their shock. After getting over it and liking the foreign culture, they ended up wanting more of it. And they demanded many things to the MC.

A good story at the beginning, but it get boring in the middle. I stop reading this story because it no longer interest me. <<less
