A really nice novel with dark plots, with a serious kick-ass female leads. Everything is really good, but a scene in the novel kinda breaks it for me (It's just not my likings but if you follow the novel's train of plot, it's actually a realistic reproduction on the evilness of people. It's just I couldn't take it and by no means a bad point. Just preferences.)

One of the female supporting leads was r*ped in front of the father like a toy by a tons of guys and the father can only watched because one move from him would result in his entire country/clan and also the hostages to be wiped off.

Then realizing that the person he wants to save the most is already dead while his daughter in that state, he went mad.

It was a really heart-wrenching scene that I can't really go on for casual reading that I am usually doing. It's definite good plot scenario (not that raping is good, but it makes the story more real.)

The female supporting char does return stronger nonetheless, but I am just afraid of more such heart-wrenching scenes I decided to forgo the novel.

Other than that, the MC return slapping her opponents and turning the plot against every single one of them is just lots of fun and relieving to read. (Can get quite cruel at times but seeing how those people deserve it, I don't really mind this.)

Also, the characters around her reacting to her being a girl (because she tends to gender blend a lot, to keep her identity a secret) was so nice and hilarious to read too.

Her short moments with the male MC also makes for some laughs and heart soothing times as well. It's not much but it's good enough for me. <<less

This story contains elements typical to the face-slapping genre; op protagonist, op love interest and frustratingly s*upid villains. The story itself isn't very deep and honestly if that's what you're looking for you're not gonna find it here but this story does its job for its genre... which is satisfying and entertaining face-slappings.

The writing is alright, the translators did a good job too. The world-building is good for its genre and I'm really fond of the spirit beasts in this novel.

The protagonist, Jun Wu Xie, isn't my favourite. I don't find her to be super likeable but she does her job to move the story forward. Her personality and character is a series of opposites. In example...

My biggest problem in this novel is her love interest. If Jun Wu Xie isn't written how she is (she has the social skills of a toddler) then maybe their relationship won't feel so creepy.

The unlikable main pairing is further hammered down by the other characters that the protag meets. During her journey, she meets a lot of other very good-looking and beautiful people with personality traits in leagues better than her love interest. But nah the protagonist of course can only be with the MOST handsome, MOST strongest man.

I love the side characters more than the protag and her lover. At this point, I'm reading the story just for them. They are more intriguing and interesting in my opinion.

I'm not finished with this novel yet so I'm not sure if I'm dropping this now or I'll power through till the end (my god is it long) but I'm hoping that the protagonist can continue to develop and the love interest to become more likeable because ultimately, this is a romance novel.

Great on the first half until they came to the spirit realm which got sooooo confusing. I dropped it then. I'll maybe re read it when its all done. I'll try to bear with the confusing arc ?.

Will keep it short, beginning is nice, but after a few hundred chapters it's all over the place, unnecessary amount of chapters being used to explain boring situations and non interesting characters.

I took this as a purely instant-gratification novel. The MC is pretty powerful, compared to people of the same field of specialisations / age group. The plot doesn’t really get going until six hundred ish chapters in (there’s only mentions of the main plot at 572ish I think) so the first half is basically her exploring the world she is in undercover while she upgrades her skills and stuff. On the male lead: yeah he’s a bit of a creep. Like he kinda stalks her. Physically, it’s like watching a slightly less overpowered Sebastian Michaelis (he apparently still has limits) interact with Ciel. Emotionally and character development wise idk wtf is going on calling him devoted is a bit obsessed. Also she is quite young (preteen) buuuttt back in the good ol’ Days, which this is trying to evoke, girls married young anyways so whatever.

It’s not the best, the cream of the crop or whatever. But it’s decent enough, so if you’re looking for a novel that requires minimum brain to read after a long day, for time killing or instant gratification or procrastination, this is ‘it’. Enjoy. <<less

Ok, I like the FL. She is stubborn and fierce. But too fierce. At some point it became too bloody for me to read. But well, I suspended the reading, I will continue later and maybe have a better idea of the plot. (Instead I don't like the ML but I appreciate his help)

This is the first ongoing series that i've been reading and waiting for updates. What I like about this is the savage MC but what I can't wait about this is the development of their romance. MC started to show her awesomeness when she was still in her teens (13 as far as I can remember) so I think the author wanted to make MC independent and strong on her own before standing beside ML in governing the world. This is my first novel whom I can read until 500+ chapter. It is actually good story with steady development of the characters, but it is not my cup of tea.... I dont like human who come from present time in ordinary circumtance (not war) environment can kill other human without blink her eye.... Oh come on.... but I love the ML...

P.S: my sister is fall in love with this story and she will read 10 chapters everyday becouse she is afraid that there will no translator anymore.....

I have read a lot of reincarnation novels and a few transmigration ones, nevertheless I believe this novel is one of the best I have read.

I personally enjoy the MC. Why? I have always been hesitant to read novels with a female lead that have romance, don't get me wrong I have nothing against females, I'm a girl myself, but the female lead always ends up being really annoying. With this novel I was not as annoyed and rather enjoyed the interactions. Reasons are:

1) female lead is op but not... more>> s*upid.

2) she is independent, but depends on others when it counts.

3) she is merciless.

4) SHE DOESN'T CRY EVERY FU**ING TIME SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS SHE PULLS HER NOBLE BEHIND OFF HER FU**ING "THRONE" AND ACTUALLY TRIES TO FIX IT.

I also find her character development rather cute.

Story: is interesting so far, though it gets kind of repetitive with the general idea but it pulls through with humor and the craftiness the author puts into each arc.

Action and Romance: personally I have a hard time reading stories that include these two genres because usually it goes like this: the "hero" saves the "princess" -_-. In this story although it may happen sometimes but Wu Xie still tries to handle it alone showing her reluctance to depend on others, which to me is quite refreshing, but she also will accept it if she knows she cannot win.

Op'ness: I like how MC knows she isn't strong compared to the 12 palaces but she tries to pull through with her wits. <<less

The novel is quite good. The schemes and plot are interesting.

Main Lead O.P ness is forgivable, acceptable and some skills have explanation.

But the leading man is much more like an extra, O.P but most of the time useless. The chapter are "too too too too much of a much too SHORT " and many chapters doens't have any content which would be better if it can be compress in a single chapter. Too much word without content. Like potato ships 90% air 10% plot.

In summary: The novel is not that unique but interesting. Chapters have too much word with less content. The ending is predictable but make you want to know the variables. Rating 3.5 round off to 4. <<less

Wow, I was not expecting this. just like how I did not expect to start reading this on thursday and get caught up on the 600 chapters this just two hours ago. I'm in the spring semester of my senior year mind you, lol. yeah I'm gonna die the next two weeks thanks to this.

basically it's an adventure transmigration story toeing reverse harem but with one clear male lead that has surprisingly scarce screen time (at least in the first 600 chapters...), which is oddly somehow the right amount... 98% of the story is about really horrible people meeting a horrific end usually at the hands of the ruthless main character. it gets actually REALLY disturbing. as in, the level of evil with some characters - and then the level of retribution that Jun Wu Xie exacts on them... they will be proportionate... still not sure how I feel about it. I'm sure this isn't the scariest out there... just take it with a grain of tarantino or something, you know.

in fact, if you ever watched those horrible imperial dramas where the good main character gets wronged left and right by evil characters (damn too many examples come to mind, but I'm thinking of lan ling wang first of all lmao) and then their friends misunderstanding them due to evil manipulation - just store up all that forgotten anger and project it back onto the evil characters in this story, LMAO. I wonder if the author has read too many stories or watched too many dramas where their favorite "nice" characters had their lives ruined unfairly by manipulating evil characters or s*upid characters, and this story is just their way of letting off steam by imagining the best downfalls for those evil characters...

anyway, I mean, this isn't perfect literature or whatever, but it's certainly a cut above most transmigration / romance stories. definitely. <<less

Manipulation, planning, power development, clear power distribution, interesting and realistic characters and well thought out backstories to back them up, the enemies are tough from the start so it is more realistic than their strength following the MC's growth, well executed however a little obvious plot armor, MC has an op learning ability and memories from her past life (OP^2 and add another for her dual spirits)

too little use of ring spirits by enemies, some enemies are too s*upid to be real villains, un realistic reactions by the masses

So far, I like how the author is able to make the story arcs flow from one to the next, how the MC has serious medical skills and how other characters grow (especially those certain naive ones) aside from the MC. As for the MC's personality, I like how she tends to be mellow and low key but wreaks serious havoc when angered.

I'm not sure about how I feel about the MC's interpersonal skills. Sometimes it's really cute, but other times I just want to scream in frustration! She seems... more>> to be transitioning away from medicine and to the typical cultivation route, and I'm also getting mixed feelings from that (because she can defend herself now but I miss the medicine focus).

What I don't like is how stalker-ish the love candidate is/can be and how the MC just seems to pick up cheats as if they were pebbles on the road (super awesome pets, super awesome skills, super awesome respect levels from super awesome teachers, etc.).

This novel is a fun read, it's one that I enjoy on a daily basis. Although the chapters are very short... and it feels like a good one or two thirds of every chapter is a repeat/rehash of the previous.

The female MC is quiet and strong without flaunting it. Her lack of social skills makes it refreshing to read about as she interacts with her growing group of friends. I especially love the moments when her friends realize a little more about her personality. The male lead is protective... more>> and OP but doesn't interfere with the MC's plans. I appreciate that she is strong on her own and I enjoy the "face slapping" build-up after her enemies overlook her but the short chapters and continuous rehash makes the story progression feel rather slow. <<less

Its pretty good. Though it doesn't break any ground with the "reborn into another word" troupe, its rather refreshing to have a loving and supportive family. Like most of these types of stories the person whose body is taken over was a "waste." But instead of her family ridiculing her and treating her like tr*sh, they go out of their way to protect her. Instead, the person from the future that was reborn was the one that suffered under a cruel family life.

My fav type of MC. Dhe's calm, intelligent, cunning and ruthless when angry. The beginning very similar to otherworldly evil monarch but as it progress it started to get different as this MC focus more on medicine making and cultivation. The romance is also slow but quite sweet. Too bad the chapters are very short but the translation team is doing a good job of translating quite a number of chapters every day

Anyways, so when my girl was at the death's door she finds the male lead and he saves her. From then on starts her adventures with her cutie black cat and the chubby cutie pie celestial spirit. She does miracles with her medicine and she quickly gets rid of her previous image. The story is the best 5/5 I'm obsessed. GOD BLESS U TRANSLATOR <3 <<less

Like others of its kind, it has the MC that is the very best at what she does, and some of the writing could have been lifted from a dozen similar novels (mostly the cultural concepts, like 'hurt me, I hurt you back x 100...) And I think that's why I'm so hooked. Sure, it's not a realistic fantasy story. It's like 300 (admittedly short) chapters in before she meets someone who is a threat to her or her people, but she knows the value of the things she's trying to protect, and she doesn't take any of it for granted. And if she acts like a poorly socialized terminator sometimes, it's because she's an abused, poorly socialized, adorable little psychopath who is finally learning what it's like to be loved, and that feeling is worth killing for. The chapters are a bit short so even if there are 113 translated at the time of this post, there isn't so much to read. As usual, ignore how the MC got sent to another universe / another time. It's always silly. The story is slow paced but not boring :)

Great job author and translator now I am addicted. I just have to say it has some similarities with other world evil monarch but not much. The story so far is very slow compared to other novels but I mean slow like not boring and nothing happens more like the first 50 chapters happen in two weeks. The MC is great and I would like to recommend the novel.
