Probably Spoilers (but you need to read to understand them well) :Story is a one time read there is always some kind of tension and something new happening MC is pretty unique and smart and lucky alot of time, romance portion is pretty ambiguous as 2 people who seem to love him are shown no romantic intrest in them and 2 people who he sleeps with one is basically s*ave and other has a enemy to tolerable partner relationship and she goes missing of forgotten during last part of story.......... more>> stories ending is like achieving what you wanted to but finding happiness in doing what you never imagined you would like <<less

An interesting read. Typical weak to strong MC progression that relies on game element system so if you're into those stories like me, then take a bite. You won't regret it.

Average Novel.

The translation got better after it hits halfway or so. There were some pronouns confusion at the beginning, but nothing that a reader can't figure out.

Pure action, this is not a romance, not a harem, there is no comedy or any funny scenes. Additionally, the ending, while complete, is also lacking a lengthy epilogue that explains further in detail about what happens next to the characters.

Another reviewer mentions that Fights ends in one sentence - and this is generally true. The whole paragraph (s) leading up to the fight... more>> explains what skills the protagonist has that makes him more powerful than his opponent. And so, the fight ended. Like that.

This novel is a one-man show. I mean, thats typical of these types of novel, but I really want more drama with other characters. The protagonist is a dungeon master, and so, interactions with other characters are limited to a master - s*ave type of interaction. His interaction with anyone is really not interesting. Its at the same level of your interaction with a cashier. Or store keeper. "Please get me this size shoe". "Okay." (remove the please, and you've got our character). The protagonist is probably chaotic neutral. These types of protagonist usually have a little bit of character progression to chaotic good. Not in this novel. The protagonist is already set, his mind, his goal, his character - he is an unfeeling brick from beginning to the end.

I'd give it a 60. I mean, its really not bad. Its just not terribly exciting. <<less

Let me say from the start, this is an underdog, retry (second chance) novel, the hunter is the only demon without a "side" while other 3 factions have all the power, but he knows how the system work and how to evolve a dungeon, knowledge he had not put to use on the first run, so now he can make a titan dungeon from the very start.
Thats it, but play a game on god mode is no fun so the author set a web of casualties that change almost everything he knows about the other demons and humans, so in the end the MC now is just an smart underdog, even when he has the upper hand he will suffer, the side chars are good but a little more work wouldn't hurt, about the end, well it seems rushed to me but at the same time because the way the novel is write make it have some sense? Overall it's a good novel to read while you wait your main novels pile up.

Overall not a bad story, but certainly not good.

It seemed to lack any real character direction or growth. You honestly end the story knowing as much about a character as their first few chapters of interaction (MC included).

It also has the typical plot shift (that leaves you thinking what? How did we get here, this doesn't make sense) found in stories where the author seems to not know where to go next.

Maybe I'm missing something here but I really struggled to get into the story, or feel anything about the... more>> characters other that question their motives (because they aren't fleshed out).

The second chance aspect barely comes into play, in a meaningful sense

(other than auctions for good items, which honestly is only useful because of his eye/vision ability).

There is also a weird s*xual aspect where the author seems to suggest the MC has s*x with another (its very lightly implied), but its leaves you wondering if they did anything, as the next scene its almost like nothing happened. Overall a weird interaction (like a lot of the story) <<less

Consider this:-

Spoiler

1. The MC name is Randalph Brigsiel.
2. At the beginning of the novel, MC donned a mask and go to human world, collecting points and titles, while using his real name.
3. Then the yearly auction happened, and he goes there while using his real name (understandable), exposing him to the other bemused antagonists.
4. After the auction, he repeats what he does in no. 1 and also upgraded the dungeon. While still using his REAL NAME.
5. Then, the yearly auction happened again, and the antagonists are still bemused.

[collapse]

It was here then, it dawned to me that one of the things below is true:-

1. The grand dukes in this novel are one of the s*upidest antagonists in webnovel/light novel/xianxia et. Al. History. If, let's say, one of the grand dukes has the brains of a random antagonist from True Martial World, the MC would have been finished in less than 50 chapters. 2. The author is simply incompetent. Considering the ending arc, I think it is more to the latter. At least the author of this novel try to own up to whatever mistakes he has done in the course of writing this novel. True Martial World's author would do well if he follows this novel's author lead.

The story was interesting, especially in the beginning. The main character is your typical badass but the growth of his character is what really makes it worth the read. Though the ending was rushed it made sense. The story was becoming an enemy of the week kind of adventure story and the rapid climax helped to eliminate that. Overall it was a good read and I would recommend it to anyone who likes good read.

So it was a hell of a ride to the end in a sense. Rainbow Turtle you are a saint for not only your translation speed but his dedication to finish the book. Now onto the review was it amazing a must read? Not really. Do I recommend you move this to the front of your reading queue to read? No

Spoiler

I would say its average, but I enjoyed it and thus it gets a 4.0 I won't dig into spoilers but the ending feels rushed, however it's an ok ending, but not a great one in my honest opinion. The final chapters you can tell is rushed so if you want a perfect book with an amazing ending I don't recommend this, but if you got nothing else to read this is a decent read. At the very least it's not as infuriating as reading some books.
