MC's and his sister are oppressed in his family, the sister was almost mol*sted and almost taken by another clan. MC decides to leave his sister by herself for six months while he leaves to train
Amazing!!! The start was a downfall but the author did an amazing job picking up the pace and made the story much better. It does have the 'Coiling Dragon' elements- levels and world setting but don't let it get to you, it's not copied and paste and done. No no, the events are MOST times gives me an unexpected surprise while it has a tinge of the ^^^ plots. Romance at the start was very very forced falling in love for no apparent reason, however, later it smooths out and the heroines:
MC technically has 3 wives but their weddings were disrupted and another heroine who isn't introduced to the other heroines yet. They all are introduced in the first 70 chapters. Now the MC is about to start wondering the world with the 3 wives personally makes personally love the story, they aren't forgotten and useless.
~ Skips the typical 5 year old OP kid who is already in blood soak battles.
~ Skips the cycle of multiple arrogant idiots who hate the MC for the smallest reason (the few arrogant baddies have more valid reasons)
- Skips the annoying tournament fillers every 50 chapter cycle. (Has larger scale military type battles that come with actual PLOT) Having said that, there are some bads... It can be summed up by saying that the story wasn't fully drafted, compiled and refined to the point of becoming a masterpiece.
- Info dumps have some continuity and/or plot armor issues... (Timing often shows that the author figured out the next portion of the story while he was writing it)
- Some introduced details that would be interesting seem to be forgotten by the author along the way.
(Like what martial arts he's learned, or how his beast who could be interesting only every talks when plot armor is required, or a cool movement art he learned to fight vs multiple opponents which he never uses in real combat)
(Such as Human alliance forcing to attack a defend mountain for a shallow reason, or MC thinking about Teleporters being sabotaged and forgetting about it)
-Fairly typical 'tr*sh to mu*dergod due to cheat' story. Take it or leave it. Not terribly written though, and there are no signs of fake morals get annoying when broken later in this genre (he starts off using a brick in a duel against the young master of his family). So far in my reading, his only morals are 'don't mess with my (immediate) family and don't mess with me either'.
-Cultivation gimmick: The people of his clan can summon beasts to fight alongside them. These beasts can also fuse with them, leading to temporary higher cultivation and appropriate physical abilities (ie- fast animals make you fast, tough animals make you tough). Of course he gets best beast (but hidden best beast, because 'tr*sh'). Also, item cheat.
-Reincarnation is present; use of 'real world' soul. Has little to no effect on the story so far, although I guess it gives him enough of a psychological head start so he isn't mentally broken by the 'tr*sh' part. Seems like it could be removed fairly easily by the writer, and equally ignored by the reader.
