That lonesome night as he lays dying in the hospital, fearing of death and desiring the taste of life, his mind became unprecedentedly complex with mixed emotions.

Myasthenia gravis — an incurable disease where one’s muscle slowly degenerated until the day when one can no longer move and only tears may flow.

“Is this… dying?”

When he opened his eyes again, he had crossed over into the body of a two months old infant, right in the middle of an assassination attempt.

He was born as the illegitimate son of a noble. His name was Fan Xian; and with that name came the burden of deep political secrets and the legacy of his mother.

He understood; to survive, he needed unparalleled strength, money and political power.

To a new world with the luxury of a new life, so named; Celebrating the Remaining Life.

It's a bit slow with the first volume and not much has happened. However, it looks like it has alot of potential though.

it's all over the place, I get that the title speaks itself, it lacks action and face slapping common to cultivation novel, but it got no proper direction on story line 🤦🏻‍♂️ you can't get excited or hype reading this novel, it's boring. The motivation of the MC changes every friggin chapter, and the transition of chapters is also very annoying, you can't write it like that, it makes the reader feels they're reading new story every chapter.

I thought it was great read. It had exciting moments up until the last few chapters. The chapters are quite long, and the story can be a bit slow on development, but I think it's worth the time to read. I'd give it a 4.7/5 or so.

500 chapters in so far, good story and props to the translating team!

This webnovel makes sure that you get the story and repeats itself every paragraph. For example:

Fan Xian and Wuzhu heads for the capital.

... more>> As they on their way to the capital, wuzhu has a blindflod, black.

Fan xian heads to tjhe capotal, the clouds are white, the wind breezy, the weather clear, wuzhui is protecting him, he still have on blindfold, he embarks to the capital.

The carriage taking them to the capital has the man with black blindfold, but lets talk aboiyt oyther stuff likenthe horse, the wheels, the colors of the carriahe, the handles and and and ehatever I can do to waste time. <<less

This story drags on for too long, I have read about 20 chapters and the amount of things repeated over and over is insane. For 20 Chapters, without dragging and less words, It could have been about 1 chapter. Better to watch drama and avoid this repeatfest

A rare thought-provoking novel in the wish-wash of many stereotypical and poorly written Chinese cultivation novels. A novel that focuses more on the politics of the world with a side touch of cultivation. The prose is well-written, with some references to sophistries and art. The characters are well fleshed-out and realistic; there are no clear-cut villains and allies, with each alike having their motives. Here people will find to their surprise a breath of fresh air with a likable protagonist, a nice love story, and interesting political intrigue for a... more>> novel with cultivation inside of it.

Of course, cultivation is never the focus of the novel, and the beautiful prose and world building can lead to slow moments in the story. In addition to this, errors in the translation can lead to very confusing moments where you aren't sure if a title refers to a certain person or not. Its not a story without its flaws, but the quality of its writing and setting definitely sets it apart well enough from the crowd as a very good read.

I love this novel.

Actually I start reading because I saw the drama series first.

I just cant wait for the continuation, so I brave myself to dive into the novel.

... more>> And... Zhang Ruoyun really is what Fan Xian should be like. I just love the cheekiness of Fan Xian.

The chapter can be boring in between the chapter. but when it gets serious, the story just pull me in so hard I cant pull myself back to finish reading. The way of writing of this author is kinda classy. especially since this book often referencing chinese old poems in it. Compare to most of other similar reincarnation books, it gives me a curious satisfaction in reading it.

Overall 9.0/10. A book well read.

Caution: This book is under 1000, but it sure feel more than 1000. The chapter's just so loooong. <<less
